Medium body
These Nespresso pods (not for Keurig) aren't as big or bold as I was expecting but still taste good. More of a medium brew with low acidity and very friendly.

Not my favorite
Equator beans have set such a high bar for me that this particular pod did not live up to it 🙁 No distinct Equator sweet coffee aroma, in fact the aroma was not pleasant. No taste. I have other Equator pods (different blend) that I purchased in their store, that are very different and pleasant. So this "Mocha Java Blend" did not live up to the quality/aroma/flavor of the other Equator pods or beans.

Not to buy
I was excited to have a really good rich cup of coffee only to be very disappointed in a lame weak cup of yuck. It made me not wanting to try new stuff! It didn't even smell good. I made another cup for a friend and she agreed with me! Itcwas a waste of my money. It didn't work for me.

Didn't taste the mocha.
Not really sure what they mean by Mocha Java Blend, but I didn't really get any Mocha flavor. Maybe it's meant to be used in a mocha coffee drink. Not sure. On the other hand, having had it as a straight espresso and as an Americano, I can say it does taste good. It's mild as suggested, and has a full espresso/coffee flavor. No acidity, and all around good taste. The capsules fit well in my Nespresso Original machine and they expel as needed. Both important tests for the third party capsules. Overall, it is a good, but not great product. Good enough for my every day use, but I have better ones that I'll bring out for guests.

Good value option for original nespresso
These pods have been a nice change of pace. They fit the original nespresso line (NOT VERTUO) and are very portable. The flavor is solid for off brand coffee and doesn't have any bad aftertaste. I mix it with cream and it does the job well. At its current price point, it is an excellent alternative to paying full price for the nespresso line. I would highly recommend this product over using the name brand products.

Pods don’t filter correctly.
Equator coffee is generally good as a pour over, but their pods struggle to produce a stream of coffee into my cup. I would say they are probably only 50% effective.

Works perfectly in a Nespresso Pixie. Great flavor and volume.
I always love trying new pods, though I guess I'm not a coffee expert, because I can never really tell them apart. This French Roast, however, does actually taste different from my regular Nespresso pods! It's not the strongest coffee, but it does seem to have deeper taste than my other pods. I also love that the pods are not made of metal. My Pixie had no trouble at all pushing water through and filling my espresso cup. I almost thought it was going to overflow. Excellent all around.

Taste is fabulous, function is less so.
These are supposed to work with Nespresso Original line. Well, it's very hard to get it to work. I had to use an ice pick and make a hole in the bottom. The whole thing about the Nespresso Original is that they use special materials (aluminium) that helps preserve the coffee taste, etc. The machine is specially made to work with the aluminium capsules. So, when faced with these (non-aluminium) ones they do not work like they should. Hence, the ice pick. Regardless, I am not getting the full benefit of the coffee with the Nespresso original. The taste is just not as strong as it should be, and I guess that is again down to the material. I DO like the taste, I just wish it was more potent in the Nespresso machine it was intended for. So, I have started using these in my keurig. I open the pod with a knife or ice pick, peel the top back, dump it into my reusable keurig pod, and it works fine. Tastes perfect. Nice and rich but not super bold. I really like the flavor a lot. But they might want to consider not saying it's compatible w/Nespresso Original because that is a bit of a stretch. Note: if you try my keurig method, make sure to pick the smallest volume to get full flavoring.
