The best travel wheelchair!
This is the best! The backrest is sturdy and the shock absorber really works. The is a step bar on the back that you can step on to raise the front wheels to go over bumps more easily which is a great feature. My dad fell out of a different chair going over a bump. This chair is perfect!

Mobility Wheelchair
This is Absolutely a great chair for my husbands needs , he has stage 4 lung cancer and trips we’re getting harder to take because he has to be in oxygen. i love that it folds &unfolds with no effort , the extra bag for his portable oxygen machine , extra seat cushion or can be used for extra back support , he said it sits very comfortably and the feet are positioned well fit him , the large storage bag with nice handles make for very easy transfer. We have only been on flat surfaces so if we hit rocks or sand and I find difficultly I will update my personal review but for the overall of everything we are 100% pleased for our needs with the chair

Very good chair when using, but tough to fold/unfold for storing it.
Overall, this is a nice wheelchair. The reclinable back is a godsend. But it has some definite drawbacks. First, it arrived damaged because in shipping the wheel brakes were bent on one tire and pushed out of position on the other. It took me almost an hour to fix this using channel locks since I didn't have the right sized wrench. The shipping container was a thin cardboard box and not very protective of the contents. Second, there is no phone number to call for help. I had to contact the seller via Amazon and say I wanted to return the chair even though I just wanted to fix it. The seller did respond but didn't understand my problem and gave me no phone number. After fixing the problem I contacted the seller by responding to their email. They offered me a discount for my troubles. That was nice, but I still wish they had provided a help number. Third, this chair can be folded up if you remove the big wheels. Removing the wheels is pretty easy, But folding up the chair is difficult. It takes a lot of strength and there's nothing easy to hold onto when folding. The control for unlocking the chair is not intuitive and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to fold and refold it. Fourth, when you unfold the chair it is easy for the footrest to get stuck under the seat and you have to fold up the chair again to free it up. The worst thing is that you don't realize the footrest is stuck until someone is sitting on the chair and you try to put it down for their feet. I must say that the instructions do tell you to unfold the footrest before unfolding the chair, but that is easy to overlook. After you make this mistake a couple of times it becomes such a pain point that you learn not to forget to first unfold the footrest before unfolding the rest of the chair. Fifth, the chair is bit weighty, which is one of the reasons it's hard to fold and unfold since you must hold it off the ground when putting on the wheels and opening up the chair. You can lay it on the ground during assembly and disassembly, but at some point you have to lift it to do some of the work. Having said all of this, I am still keeping the chair and it works very well when in use. I love the reclining backrest and the wheels go smoothly over most bumps. I just try to minimize the number of times I have to fold it up and I'm careful to remember to unfold the footrest first when unfolding the chair. But it is a lot of work when I must take off the wheels and fold it up. Also, you really need to get a seat cushion (one that's washable). But I think that's true with most chairs.

Great wheelchair!
I wasn't sure about this chair because there were no reviews but I actually love it. It is not as wide as my mom's 20 inch chair, but it has everything else you can ask for. I would give it 5.5 stars. I gave it 5 because I find it hard to press on the back and tip the chair back like her other chair. It beats the regular reclining wheelchair we had. It was not working properly within weeks. This chair has shocks built in. Gives a smooth ride. The legs adjust smoothly. I think the bottom cushion should be a little thicker but it seemed comfortable when I sat in it. Just not sure about long term. It is not as wide as the regular chairs either. I will post another review after a few weeks.

Has advantages and disadvantages.
Nice that it's lightweight, folds pretty easily, has a handle to pull like luggage when necessary. The downside is that the wheels are small, which tend to get stuck on many outdoor cracks, and even indoor floors. When that happens, the passenger can be ejected from the chair.

DON’T BUY
Wish we could give it a zero star. This review is happening in real time. A BIG waste of money. This product was bought specifically to make travel easier on a vacation. We even took the extra time to make sure it was wrapped in a protective cover for airline baggage. Everything on it is cheap plastic except for the frame. It started breaking almost immediately on our journey. First the adjustable back stopped working after the second use. Then the next day the brake handles disengaged from the frame and after several attempts to fix they just stopped working. Then the wheels started rubbing and making it difficult to push. SO, we had to purchase a new wheelchair during our vacation in Japan and THROW AWAY the piece of crap we bought from Amazon - this product is not safe. At 145 lbs. the person sitting in it was not overweight and far less than the max weight limit so don’t use that as an excuse. Stay away from buying any mobility products from Amazon on line and take the time to visit a store front DME company in person to physically look and test out the product you need. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The BEST transport chair you’ll ever use!!!
I have owned 3 different transport chairs. None of them suited my needs. Either they were too uncomfortable, too wide to fit through our doorways, or the BIGGEST issue: the arms were not able to be moved up and out of my way so I could slide from the transport chair onto my bed, or into the passenger seat of my car. Until I discovered this transport chair, I was always nervous about transferring from my bed to a transport chair or from my transport chair into my shower chair or onto the toilet. The arms of the other chairs I owned do NOT flip up and out of the way, so it was always iffy for me and I’ve fallen several times. Needless to say, I do not use the other transport chairs since I’ve found this one. This chair is solidly built, has a 21” seat height and is easily maneuvered into my bathroom. It also folds down quickly and fits into my small car trunk. My ONLY suggestion for anyone buying this would be to add a foam cushion on the foot rest, as it’s hard metal and not comfy unless you are wearing shoes. I often use my transport chair in the house barefoot, which is why adding a 4” piece of memory foam padding to the foot rest made all the difference in my comfort. I LOVE this transport chair as my husband is easily able to wheel me around. I can’t walk and using a wheelchair is not possible because it is much too wide to fit through our doorways. Buy this transport chair … you won’t regret it … plus it comes assembled!

Good choice
The carry bag is much too large but otherwise it works well, fits nicely in the car and is easy to maneuver.
