Good price and great durability.
This works perfectly! Hardy and great bit of teeth hygiene kit. No bells and whistles but does what is needed. 4 people use this daily and no issues in the last year. Bought for husband after dental treatment and he researches everything but was happy with this one. Also recommended by dentist we have. Price very good

Battery life is awesome
Might be a, wee bit messy, so hang over the sink or do it in the shower. Sounds crazy but true. Yet , don’t let this refrain from the product as it is amazing 🤩!!! It’s like loosing a shoe size after using it. Soooo clean and awsome. Just get it and use it. Battery life is awsome too!!!

Good, not as advanced as Waterpik market it as being
I sent this feedback to Waterpik as part of a warranty claim for two of the standard devices that both had failing performance within warranty period (this experience has so far been slow with poor service). I have used this Advanced model for a week now and before this standard models since winter 2021. The Waterpik action is really useful for teeth cleaning and I do believe that WaterPik with their evidence base is better than generic no names. My dentist also recommends WaterPik and not a generic device, however the price and some of the design and feature choices still make me feel that I am being "mugged off". -It is a shame it does not have a USB c charging adaptor still using a 2 pin shaver socket and an adaptor that blocks the plug next to it. Means yet another separate charger and the need to carry a 2 pin adaptor to use it with a plug. I see in reviews the pin spacing does not seem to work in France or Spain, so another adaptor may be needed for travel... The induction charge does resolve the 2 pins of the standard model getting corroded. - Good to see a battery indicator. I am charging it now, as it arrived with no charge in the battery. The indicator is just a blue light, there is a battery icon with 3 segments under the blue light, but these do not seem to have a light in or reflect the battery charge. - The fill point for the reservoir is likely still a dirt trap. - Not convinced of the fill measurement position, they are only the right way round when the reservoir is not attached, when attached it is in reverse. - A smaller reservoir than before by 20ml, and I need to refill 3 times for my use of it with the highest jet. - The hose to pick up water is likely less effective than the cordless plus model that picks up from a fixed position at the rear of the device. Likely has the impact of making the effective reservoir even smaller....? - It is expensive for what you get. The standard model often appears for around £40. This was £70 with a discount. - The extra 'tat' of a bag and box for tips feels like fluffy stuff to bump the price...

water pick
I’m really impressed with this water flosser. It’s easy to use, feels well made, and has made a noticeable difference in my oral hygiene. The water pressure is strong enough to clean thoroughly between teeth and along the gumline, yet gentle enough to be comfortable. After just a few uses, my mouth felt much cleaner than with traditional floss alone. I also appreciate how convenient it is—setup is simple, the water tank is easy to fill, and cleaning takes very little time. It’s especially helpful for hard‑to‑reach areas and leaves my gums feeling healthier and refreshed. Overall, this water pick has been a great addition to my daily routine, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking to improve their dental care.

Worth the Hype
The Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser promises a dentist-fresh clean at home and on the go, and after several weeks of daily use—including one unfortunate splash incident that left me soaking before breakfast—I’m ready to weigh in. With its bold claims of removing up to 99.9% of plaque and being up to 50% more effective than string floss, expectations are understandably high. So, does it actually deliver? In short: mostly yes, with a few charming quirks. Let’s start with the basics. This device has a surprisingly premium build—it’s got that soft, grippy matte finish that feels more like a high-end tech gadget than a bathroom tool. The magnetic USB charger is borderline luxurious, making the usual plug-wrestling drama a thing of the past. After a full charge (about four hours), I’m getting between 8–10 days of twice-daily use. Not bad for something that blasts your mouth like a power washer. Speaking of power washers, the three pressure settings are well-calibrated. Low feels like a friendly garden sprinkler. Medium is just right for daily use. High, though? High is what I imagine a fire hydrant would feel like if it cared about your gum health. It’s great for stubborn bits of food that think they’ve found a forever home between your molars. This flosser is especially handy if you’ve got braces, implants, or anything your dentist charged you extra for. It dances through gaps where floss can’t go. After about two weeks, I noticed my gums felt firmer and less inflamed—even my hygienist was impressed, which doesn’t happen often. Travel-wise, this is the flosser equivalent of a posh campervan: not the smallest, but packed with features. The travel case is handy, and I’ve taken it on hotel stays and overnights without issue. That said, if you’re a carry-on-only minimalist, it does take up space—especially if you like to bring the extra tips. Now, the mess. Oh, the glorious chaos. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up watering your bathroom tiles more than your teeth. My advice? Use it in the shower or lean forward like you’re telling your sink a secret. Otherwise, you’ll be mopping up toothpastey water while your pet watches in quiet judgement. One time, I used it while half-asleep and missed my mouth entirely. I sprayed the mirror, the wall, and my own ear. Lesson learned: this isn’t a tool for groggy mornings unless you want to wake up very fast. Another tip—don’t forget to empty the reservoir. If you leave water sitting in there for hours, it occasionally leaks. Not a dealbreaker, just something to remember if you don’t want to discover a suspicious puddle the next day. Durability-wise, it’s too soon to tell, but some long-time users report breakdowns after two years. The good news? Waterpik’s customer service has a solid rep, and they’ve replaced faulty units under warranty without fuss. Pros: The Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser offers clinically proven results, effectively removing plaque and improving gum health. Its cordless and portable design makes it ideal for home and travel use. The three pressure settings are genuinely useful, allowing users to tailor the experience based on sensitivity or need. It performs exceptionally well around braces, crowns, and bridges—areas where traditional floss can struggle. Battery life is excellent, often lasting 8–10 days on a single charge, and it recharges quickly via a magnetic USB cable. Once familiar with the technique, many users find it surprisingly fun to use and more satisfying than traditional flossing. Cons: However, it’s on the pricier side compared to other water flossers. If you leave water sitting in the tank, it can occasionally leak, which may be inconvenient. There's also a bit of a learning curve to avoid making a mess—improper angle or pressure can result in water spray across the bathroom. Lastly, while it’s portable, the unit is slightly bulky for minimalist travel setups and may take up more space than expected in smaller toiletry bags. If you're looking for a reliable, surprisingly entertaining, and highly effective water flosser that adds a little theatre to your oral hygiene routine, the WP-580UK is well worth considering. It’s like having a dental hygienist in your travel bag—just one with a strong personality and a splash zone.

Extraordinarily bad
This device is just terrible to use, and I don’t know whether this is by design or whether it’s faulty. I’ve never used a water flosser before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the absolute minimum I expected was a good quality floss without feeling like I was being waterboarded. What I wasn’t expecting was to have such a large amount of water delivered into my mouth that I couldn’t turn it off in time to spit it out - so sometimes I swallowed, sometimes it went up the bathroom wall/ceiling, sometimes it went up my nose and sometimes I wore it. I tried all three pressure settings with different accessories, all with the same result. My top tips - wrap a towel around the front of your body when using and definitely don’t look at the model in the promotional photographs for a realistic idea of what it’s like to use. Sadly, not able to award zero stars.

Great flosser that flags very well but quality less than expected
Very good cleaning, tank is of reasonable size, easy to fill. Easy and quite pleasant to use. Build quality needs improvement. The tank lid plastic got brittle after 3 years when the first hinge broke and after about 3.5yrs the lid broke off altogether. Cleaning the unit is a bit of a faff but doable. The unit started leaking internally after about 3 years. After 4yrs of daily use the battery is dead, lasts just 3-4 sessions now. It is their top of the range and most expensive model when I would have expected more longevity in all aspects, ie, not quite value for money for me.

Waterpik Cordless Advanced WP-583UK Water Flosser: A Game-Changer for Oral Care
After three months of daily use, the Waterpik Cordless Advanced has fundamentally changed my oral hygiene routine. It delivers the trusted power of the Waterpik brand in a compact, travel-friendly package, making it an excellent choice for most people, with a few minor considerations. The Good: Why It’s Worth It Uncompromising Performance: Don't let the small size fool you. With three pressure settings (High, Medium, Low), it provides ample power to effectively blast away plaque and food debris from between teeth and around the gumline. The pulsating action is noticeably more effective than string floss for cleaning around braces, crowns, and implants. Ultimate Convenience & Portability: This is its killer feature. The compact, lightweight design and included travel case make it perfect for travel. It’s also a space-saver for small bathrooms—no bulky reservoir or cord to manage. Just fill the removable reservoir and go. Modern USB Charging: The included magnetic USB charger is a fantastic upgrade. It charges quickly, and the cable can be used with any standard USB port (laptop, power bank, wall adapter). No more hunting for a proprietary charger. The battery life is solid, offering about two weeks of use on a single charge (one daily session). User-Friendly Design: It’s incredibly simple to use: fill, select your pressure, and aim. The reservoir detaches easily for filling and cleaning. The waterproof construction means you can use it worry-free in the shower. Effective and Refreshing: My gums are healthier (less bleeding) and my mouth feels genuinely cleaner than with string floss alone. My dentist noticed the difference at my last check-up. The Considerations: Points to Ponder Small Reservoir Requires a Refill: For those with extensive dental work or who like a very long flossing session, you may need to pause and refill the 210ml reservoir. For most people, one full reservoir is perfectly adequate for a complete clean. Not as Powerful as High-End Corded Models: While powerful for its size, the highest setting may feel slightly less intense than the top settings on a premium corded Waterpik. However, for the vast majority of users, it provides more than enough pressure for effective cleaning. The Travel Case is Snug: The case is great for protection, but everything fits very tightly. You need to ensure the flosser and tips are completely dry before packing to prevent mildew. Verdict: The Waterpik Cordless Advanced WP-583UK is a brilliantly executed product that makes water flossing accessible and convenient for daily life. It successfully balances power, portability, and ease of use. Who it’s ideal for: Frequent travelers, university students, those with limited bathroom counter space, and anyone new to water flossing looking for a low-commitment, effective option. Who might want to look elsewhere: Those who want the absolute maximum power and a huge reservoir for a single session might prefer a corded countertop model. Final Thought: If you’re looking to upgrade your oral health routine with a tool that’s effective, convenient, and easy to integrate into your life, the Waterpik Cordless Advanced is an outstanding investment. The minor trade-off in reservoir size is a small price to pay for its fantastic portability and performance. Highly recommended. Bottom Line: A powerful, portable, and convenient water flosser that makes daily plaque removal effortless, whether at home or on the go.
