Whoa! Careful, this is sharp! I love this chef knife, it is easy to use, my hand doesn't get tired. It is a good weight and quality. I like that it has a protective sleeve. It's become my go-to knife in the kitchen.

I love to cook. I can not do many of those things that meant so much to me. I can still cook with some accessibility assistance. If I were a professional chef, I probably wouldn't consider a $7 chef knife unless to compare it too much more pricey versions to point out differences in each. I am not however a professional chef, and only require a blade sharp enough to slice, dice,and so forth. Right from the box this knife is sharp enough to do what I require a kitchen knife to do. This is good enough, even if I have to sharpen this blade every time before use, it meets my needs. I'm not being paid to cook so my putting a sharp edge on a knife is normal for me to expect because, after all, I have only paid $7 for an excellent knife. Likewise, I decided on a cheaper plastic cutting board, rather than my bamboo favorite. I don't have to use oil or wax, I can toss the plastic board in the dishwasher and sanitize it. After too many cut marks it can be recycled into something else that's still useful. Great knife at this price point, I would definitely recommend it.

The knife cuts really well, has a good grip, I even used it to unscrew something (when necessary), but it has a small problem: it tends to get small rust marks. I don't know if it needs any special care, I wash it like all my other utensils, but that's something to keep in mind.

For the price, this is an excellent product. Slices and dices with ease. I have used it regularly since purchasing it and it has maintained its razor sharp edges. Lightweight and fits in the palm nicely. Highly recommended.

The knife is very sharp and cuts well but the sheath is not practical. It’s tricky to put the knife back in and feels unsafe, as it could easily cut your hand. Overall, the knife works but the sheath design needs improvement.
