Anybody know who can supply a suitable lamp that this lamp (bulb) can be fitted in? A bench lamp would be best for me.

I have used it with a lamp holder which you will find if you search for Explosion-proof Lampshade Ceramic Lamp Holder Dome Durable Reptile Safe E27 300W. Unfortunately at the time Amazon was unable to supply such an item but I found it elsewhere.

What type of lamp/unit is this best used in please?

It is a UV lamp for therapy and it gets hot. It should be used as per the instructions and in a lamp holder made of metal and gets ventilated.
