For the most part they are just too much drama for me. That being said, Cake Boss, as a series, is so much fun. The show centers around an Italian family and their bakery in Jersey. While there is a little drama to it (as is bound to happen when families work together), most of the show is about the owner/head decorator Buddy and the AMAZING cakes he creates. I is fascinating to watch how he is given an idea and runs with it to make an edible work of art. Season 2 continues following Buddy as he makes everything from a pizza and a motorcycle to Sesame Street and an aquarium cake with live fish. If you are a fan of cake, this show is for you!

I will definitely watch more
Five stars because I will definitely watch more seasons. Not as light as Ace of Cakes. This show has more reality show drama, but not so much that it's unwatchable.

Amazing cakes, fun to watch!

My grandkids love this show. I don’t consider some of the creations to be “real” cakes, but the kids are entertained for hours!

More enjoyable antics and awesome cakes
This family never ceases to entertain and they get a ton of work done! This bakery must be the go to place if you are ever in Hoboken, NJ - I know that if I ever get there I will definitely stop by.

The dvd case was in better shape then described & the dvds were not scratched
It is the cake boss need I say more. The dvd case was in better shape then described & the dvds were not scratched. one side of the inside dvd holder was broke but the other side was long enough to hold both dvds. the price was great & for a hard working poor person u need to find good deals where u can. thank u seller. I would recommend this dvd & seller.

Excellent series - sound is very low on DVD
I bought this to show my Art classes, but the sound is very low and hard to hear. My students loved it - especially the Candy episode and the Sesame Street cake. Art comes in so many forms!!!

Good fun!
Buddy Valastro, the Cake Boss, and his family crew are good fun to watch. I gave this to my cousin and her family to watch whenever they needed something to watch if they were stuck inside during bad weather or while doing something boring that needs a bit of entertainment. No need to worry about offending someone, it it fun to watch the cakes being designed and made, and his family and their interactions.

BEAUTIFUL CAKES
I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING THE PROCESS OF THEM MAKING THEIR CAKES AND THE END RESULT, I AM NOT SO THRILLED WITH THE FAMILY DRAMA THE SISTERS HAVE TO CAUSE IN EACH EPISODE, EACH SEASON, I UNDERSTAND FAMILY COMES FIRST BUT WOULD ENJOY MORE CAKE DECORATING AND LESS FAMILY DRAMA.

We don't get this show on our cable and love watching all of the cake boss magic happen. I constantly surprises us how large the cakes are and how few people are in the group that they are made for. A giant camping cake for 8 men out on a camping trip...hmmmm...."let them eat cake" for the week long trip....and only cake!!
