Gel-Kam Flouride Preventative Treatment Gel, Fruit and Berry Flavor, 4.3 Oz.

I have been dealing with teeth sensitivity for over one year now. My dentist tells me this is because of teeth grinding, which is made much worse by my ADD medicine. I haven't been wearing my night guard as much as I should because it is difficult to fall asleep with a foreign object in my mouth. Recently the sensitivity has become serious, so I went to the dentist, who applied fluoride gel to my teeth and amazingly it worked like a charm for a week I had no sensitivity at all. Then it started to come back slowly, and I was looking where I might be able to purchase something similar myself, but it seems they reserve that product for dentists only (surprise). I recently started whitening my teeth using custom trays made at my dentist's office and Venus bleaching gel. This process has caused my teeth sensitivity to approach excruciating levels, even if I skip nights between wearing the trays with the bleach gel, so I had to find something. My dentist gave me something called Mi Paste, and while this product is probably good, it did not do much for immediately relieving sensitivity. After searching online I found that Colgate Gel Kam had excellent reviews for treating sensitivity so I ordered some with two day free Amazon Prime shipping. Thankfully I received it in one day. This stuff is amazing! I'm surprised that no other company seems to offer a similar product and that they do not sell this in stores (yes I know it can be special ordered, but the only reason I would by something at a store is so I don't have to wait for shipping). I'm also surprised my dentist didn't mention this product. I will probably be using this for the rest of my life, and that isn't a complaint because it's either that or deal with the awful sensitivity which I could feel just from breathing in through my mouth. If you have sensitive teeth, you should absolutely buy this product. I noticed results after just one use, but the results seem to be cumulative so twice a day is how I've been using it. I am currently still in the process of my nightly teeth bleaching too, and this works great to reduce sensitivity caused by bleaching gel too. Try it, you won't regret it!

I’ll be honest, this stuff is good, but a little weird. I was using a prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste, but after moving I haven’t had the chance to find a new dentist and ran out, so I looked online for the next-best thing. I’ve been using this product for a couple weeks now. This ‘toothpaste’ is super runny (I put some in a different container that I can dip the bristles of my brush into), and it’s kind-of numbing? Im sure this is great for those with super sensitive teeth, but it was something I wasn’t expecting and I find it a little off-putting. The fruit and berry flavor is fine, but after a while it has started to taste like bad breath to me-though this is probably just a personal thing. So-4 stars, since it’s a good product, just very strange to me.

Braces on -This is all 5 stars with me. Age 49. I used this several 3-5 times week 2 weeks before a cleaning after 2019 without seeing a dentist, I listerine rinse/gargle before brushing 2x a day and flossed at night after gold listerine and gargled before brushing That biofilm can be real(and I let my toothpaste (Arm & Hammer Toothpaste sit for a few ..morning/night) then I do Flouride treatment. Anyways dont Gargle with flouride anything. Night I waterpik, gargle rinse listerine gold,I proceed to ultra soft manual bursh with Arm& Hammer Peroxide/Baking Soda then The Listerine Flouride Rinse. No problemo. I wish I would have paid more attention to my teeth in my 20's and early 30's but I thought I was industructible. These flouride treatments a few times a week with a better plan to keep teeth healthy and strong is very important for your teeths health. It is always important to eat healthy foods to process any unneeded minerals and vitamins that your body may not be need at time of consumption. I let it sit for the directions time dont drink or anything for adleast 20 minutes afters. Im wearing braces and to prevent bone loss on teeth jaws. I have this added to my arsenal for added protection. Salads are not as fun and will be Juicing alot more to keep going on . Do you need flouride? Dont ever gargle it OK?

I bought this from seller Dentist Oral Care Products. You have to hit the “Compare all options” link by the other sellers section, to buy it from them. They had the best price, & they were nice & gave me a free toothbrush. So every few months when I need to order more Colgate Gel Kam, I’ll get a new brush at the same time. This stuff works great. I brush with normal toothpaste first, use mouthwash, then brush with this Gel Kam & my teeth feel nice & shiny afterwards. This is not a toothpaste, but a fluoride gel. Just put it on the toothbrush, & brush right away as the stuff is runny. But use this before bed, so it can sit on your teeth overnight. Don’t eat or drink afterwards.

I received the product in less than two days as promised. It is quite difficult to get all of the product you place of the toothbrush into your mouth due to the watered down texture. Most of the product sinks down into your bristles almost instantly so you have to start brushing quickly. Nonetheless, after a few attempts I was able to figure out a way to brush the gel onto my teeth. I currently have tooth decay on my lower left molar and lower left wisdom teeth. I decided to use the product because my wife told me that the fluoride can eliminate the decay (and costly doctor's office visits) and because of the several reviews that edified this point. So far I have had the product for 1.5 weeks and have noticed no difference in my tooth decay. I am hoping that by the time this tune is used up I will see some results.
