Nice shape, fairly constant color. Looks to be a real good piece of leather to work with.

This is actual, high quality top/full grain veg tan in exactly the weight specified in the listing, two boxes that none of the 10+ other leather suppliers I’ve tried on Amazon can check together. Everyone else is selling “genuine leather” which is essentially leather from the worst parts of the hide, that’s been stripped off of the bottom side of the hide and covered in a waxy coating to look good. This stuff is not that. It’s thick but not stiff or pressed, soft but not flimsy and takes dye remarkably well-see the photos for the patina job I did (but note that the water spots are my fault and the shininess is due to me putting a protective wax/balm on to protect the dye job and stop any risk of dye discharging onto hands or other surfaces). I’ll be buying much more of this stuff.

When I first purchased This leather I thought 2 1/2 mm would be a good thickness, so I ordered it as well as The double rivets to hold my leather pieces together, I had ordered 7mm thinking this would be long enough for the double rivets, it turned out the leather was actually a lot thicker, closer to 2.75 mm so my double rivets were useless, I ended up cutting away about half the thickness on two different sections of the leather piece to make it narrow, and then used my double rivets to finish out the project, the process would’ve been a lot quicker if it had been between two and 2 1/2 mm, but this was not the case, it would’ve been more convenient if the leather was actually as stated, but there’s always a workaround. The condition of the leather is absolutely gorgeous, my 10 W laser cut through it and printed on the leather perfectly, super happy with the first piece that came off, and I’m definitely looking towards making different pieces with much thinner leather in the near future, I think this is a great start for anybody that is Looking to find a product that will work perfectly for them, all in all I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend this product.

Value for money was ok but could be better Thick and great for belts Color was perfect It is easy to cut and apply to projects Size is ok. Build quality is alright. It did come with a hole in it which reduced the amount I could use It is leather so it functions like leather. Size can always be more uniform but like I said it is leather

Very nice clean no blemishes except outside edges where it was held maybe for the curing or whatever the process is. Seems to match the description well thicknesses and all.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I want to warn others that this leather is garbage. I bought 6 belt straps and this shoulder here and most is unusable. They rolled this shoulder up tight and then folded it in half and stuffed it into a small box for shipping. The creases are not coming out and run down the center of the leather. Wasted my money. The straps are no better, most (4 of 6) are damaged to the point they cannot be used as belts, again I wasted my money. I reached out to so-called "European Leather Works" based in California USA (very European huh?), and got a decidedly Chinese sounding reply about making it right, they are only human, and human make mistake. A mistake is not 5 bad items out of 7, that's a disaster, if your people are making that many mistakes with a new customer then you should know to steer clear folks. Also the straps are ALL cut under the measurement, I had 4 x 1.5 inch straps and none of them were actually 1.5 inches wide at any point along the strap, same with the others.

I'm not sure what I recieved but it's so thin I can see through it and it smells like spray paint. It's beyond disappointing after waiting so long and paying a ridiculous shipping amount to get whatever this is. I'm probably stuck with it now too BC no way in hell will I pay to ship it back to wherever. It's NOT real leather, and it's not 2-3 oz. I work with leather all the time and that much I know. Update: I'll be receiving a whopping 20% refund on this garbage. The seller claims that it is as described but it's not. I order this size of leather all the time and those aren't see through. They advised to remove the smell with leather conditioner and claimed the smell comes from the shipping boxes 🤔 I highly recommend saving your money. Now I'll be out double because I have no choice as a decent business order to actually honor my customers, and I would never sell anything made out of this. Worst experience I've had with Amazon sellers by far. I was trying to work with a customers budget but this is horrendous, and as someone who works with genuine leather, this is fake.
