It also makes me question the durability of the holder as it seems to be designed for thinner cases only. I also found that the holder is not compatible with all types of headrests. This limited compatibility is something to keep in mind before purchasing. This ipad holder is perfect. Its very sturdy and won't move with the weight of the Ipad and easy to install you have to force it a little but it worth it because since I installed it I didn't remove it and perfect when driving to Florida and the kid watch her show at the back. I wish the baby car mirrors were this sturdy.

A very good product east to install. Very easy to use nice and sturdy. I'm using it with a tablet and had no problems at all. And it fold back between the seat and head rest perfectly so it's out the way for getting in and out the car
