I prefer printer with a screen so I can copy a document without needing computer or phone. The print quality is good. Too early to say how long the supplied inks will last - at present it's showing a good quantity of ink left. Disadvantage is that there's just one cartridge for colour (the other cartridge being black) so if one colour runs out, whole multi-colour cartridge needs replacing. But we don't print that much so I think the lower purchase price makes this a good buy. This replaced a years-old Canon printer that still worked but doesn't work with the new macs (M-chip macs). This new printer has Airprint and connected immediately to iPhone and Macbook. The set up process suggests downloading the Canon app to the phone and then set up using that. Advantage of this is that printer connects to your wifi during this process. Also, the app allows you to scan to your phone, if you wanted to, for instance to forward to someone. But printer can also be set up without using the phone. Pleased with printer so far.

Fairly easy to set up. Wi-fi a bit fiddly, I set that up “manually”. But once that was done everything connects smoothly. Not experienced getting more ink yet but I’m sure I can get a bank loan if necessary.

Brilliant printer , worked every time. My kid had no problems setting it up, altho goes thru ink quite quick.

Really impressed with the quality of the printing. I bought this after my expensive Epson printer stopped working and was unsure if this printer would live up to the same quality - it does! It was very easy to set up. It's quiet. Light weight. The starter ink has printed loads - a pile of documents and also 350 highly-coloured glossy egg box labels. Very impressed. Haven't used the scanner or photocopier yet.

QUALITY Print quality for photos is good, used lots of ink maybe I would get ten prints of full A4. Borderless working. INSTALL ISSUE - RESOLVED Printer cannot work over TP power extender on Windows 11. I had to run it connected directly to the main hub when in wifi mode. I have not tried direct mode. INK Will need more ink soon after printing some photos for testing the quality. Prints much quicker than my old HP ENVY printer (that no longer works with Win11). I'm still on the original supplied ink which are normally lower capacity. CONSTRUCTION I think the draw for finished print and paper feeder tray at the top back of the printer look a little weak not sure how well this printer will stand the test of time. POWER The print does 'got to sleep' and needs waking again manually on the printer. SCANNER Scanner seems to work well but there is a big delay on clicking scan on the PC dialog box where it looks like it is not doing anything but actually is.

Got this as I have a Canon camera, thought thy would gell together, didn't get a chance to find out. Out of the box and tried to set the printer up with WiFi. Got a connected message but could not get a signal. Went through all the check list and recommendations still no signal. Check my WiFi, all good with phones, TV, tablet and set top box. Turned them all off and still no signal to printer even though it was recognised. Tried using phone with QR code, still could not get a signal to printer even though all WiFi info was displayed on touch screen. Tried using tablet but again no success. Called friends, who are computer whizzes, still no luck getting a signal. So disappointed I got the box to pack it up, on looking at the box it says, " developed for i phone and I Pad. Made me think that even though it gets a signal there is no apple equipment trying to connect to it, everything i have is Android. So it does not recognise anything I'm trying to connect it to. Who knows. All I know is that it's impossible to set up. So have returned.

The printer arrived quickly via Amazon Prime and was easy to connect into my laptop. The printing is very good quality and the ability to print on both sides is very useful. I recommend this printer.
