Vilros Raspberry Pi 5 Compatible Clear-Transparent Acrylic Case with PWM Fan

Very sturdy and perfect fit. Extremely easy assembly.It fits perfectly with the pi official cooler.Ports sit flushed on the holes so it's there's no issues with cabling and wires.

For the money, this is a great case. I'm always amazed at how Vilros can get such value on their products. Again, this is a $5 case. Is it the nicest case? No. Is it the sturdiest case? No. Is it the best case for experimentation? Probably not. Is it the best case for Cooling? Probably not. Is the best NVMe case? No. Is it a $5 case that the Raspberry Pi 5 fits in? YES! If I were building a desktop cluster or had a large number of installed production RPis that needed cases, this would fit the bill every time. If price point is something you're concerned about, this IS a case and it IS $5. Shop accordingly.

A solid, low cost case. Easy to assembleIncludes a fan, but I used the official Raspberry Pi Active cooler which has an aluminum heatsink instead. The active cooler fit in this case with no problems.Has a good opening for GPIO ribbon cable pass through, but you will need to temporarily remove the top cover to seat the ribbon cable. Not a good choice if you want frequent access to specific GPIO pins using breadboard jumpers (although you could probably use a Dremel tool to alter the top cover).

Pro: The case is just as described.Cons:1. Install video is fast forwarded whereas voice is normal speed. It is very hard to see what piece they have. Really only an issue with the very first piece where fan attaches. Had to watch multiple times to see which piece I was supposed to use. It Needs work.2. No written instructions3. QR code provided to get to instruction video. My desktop doesn't have a camera. Had to use phone to watch video. Pain to see.4. Can't use magnetic tip screwdriver to help with the screws. Vilros, upgrade the screws, stop being cheap!**EDIT**Big con5. There is no area cut away from the bottom piece to allow access to the micro SD card. I had to get tweezers to get the card in and out so I didn't have to remove the bottom piece from the case.I realize the case is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I cannot recommend purchasing this case at all!

The nuts that came with the unit to attach the fan are too large to recess into the fan cavity and the machine screws are too short to reach through to the end of the fan, making it impossible to attach with the provided hardware. Without some exotic GPIO header (not included) it's practically impossible to route a gpio cable out of this case, despite a large cutout for the purpose!
