Great security device
This is exactly what I was looking for. Its sturdy and it give me a sense of security. I put it on my back door . We tried entering it with this device in place and the door wouldn’t budge. It’s adjustable and fits different door heights . I’m going to purchase one for my mom who lives alone.

Does NOT work well on carpet
This item uses a rubber stopper with good traction. It will NOT work well on carpet but should be perfectly fine for tile, hardwood, concrete, etc.In general, a very good product. It makes it very difficult to open a door when installed properly. Granted, I did not bash my shoulder against the door as hard as I could, as a burglar might do if trying to get inside...

worth the money, buy them!
These are very sturdy, and they don't slide when someone tries to push through your door. I live in an apartment complex that only has a deadbolt on the door to hold it shut so I wasn't sleeping very well at night. So, I got to searching online for security stuff for an apartment and these came up, so I checked out the reviews and such and I decided to purchase them. I'm so glad I did because I've had random strangers walk up to my front door in the broad daylight and try to walk into my apartment like they live here they don't live here but they tried. I feel so much safer with these up to both my doors. I only take these down if I've gone out to get the mail, walk my dog or something like that and I don't linger outside my home for very long because I have two adult children with disabilities at home I have to make sure they're safe as well.

Remember what the door mouse said
I was going to buy these for my friend who loves pink and was feeling insecure in her apartment, but she passed. I bought them anyway for my own safety and to have a bit of her around. They are sturdy and very easy to set up. I feel much more secure with them. Good buy.
