Out of the box great product, the quality feeling in the hands is a big plus. Came with a battery tray for 218650's for some real battery life. Also utilizing usb-C pass thru charging. Took some learning to get the adjustments tune'ed but after some time i was speeding around myself with a tiny whoop. Has some cool games on there as well helps get your fingers broken in. Overall id buy another.

this radio is too much 4 this money. Very difficult at first to set-up a model but ones u get the catch you love it.

Obligatory Haiku: Flimsy plastic shell Oversize for my big hands Back bumper sticks bad These controllers came highly recommended by all the cool drone pilots on YouTube. I was so excited to join the club and take my drone skills to the next level with this "pro" controller. But when it arrived, I was pretty underwhelmed. The plastic casing felt cheap and creaky, especially for the premium price tag. After charging it up, I took it out for a spin. The controller was way too bulky for my hands. I couldn't comfortably reach all the buttons and sticks. The sticks and ergonomics kind of require you to pinch them between your fingers, which felt unnatural for me. I thought I would get used to it, but after a few flights, my hands were cramping up. The biggest letdown was the back bumper button. It would constantly get stuck mid-flight. No matter how many times I took it apart and cleaned it, the problem persisted. At this point, I knew it was time to cut my losses. I returned this overhyped controller and bought the Radiomaster Pocket instead. It's the perfect size for my hands, all the buttons work flawlessly, and it was a fraction of the price. My drone skills have reached new heights, and I've never looked back. So in summary, this controller gets 3 stars from me. Unless you have giant hands and fingers of steel, it's just too bulky and poorly made for the price. I'd tell any pilot to avoid the hype and try the Radiomaster Pocket instead.

don't order the ELRS version of this, or any ELRS product. they are unreliable and never work as intended. I spend over a week trying to bind my several hundred dollar quad with this thing, I come from the good FRsky protocol, press a button and it connects... for this radio, you have to go to their website, make an account, connect the quad to a computer with a wifi connection and a usb cable, go to another hidden website to create a password for the quad, upload the password onto the quad, after allowing admin access for your PC to the website, upload the password to a third site, load the password onto the radio from the third site with another usb and wifi also is needed there too, then connect the radio directly to the quad with wifi and a usb cable (usb type C to usb type B), a battery needs to be connected to quad during the last step and you HAVE TO KEEP A FAN ON THE QUAD or it will overheat, and if you complete a bachelors degree worth of work, you will still have to regularly go into the ELRS lua script (buggy) and plug into the quad to connect ( I have to redo all of these steps at least once a week) long story short FPV is not fun, don't buy into ELRS.

Just bought it but I can’t turn it on bc the battery slot is missing the spring on the negative contact side. Sure I can cram tinfoil into it but for this price I expect a working product.

I bought this, so I could learn to fly a microdrone around my house. Sadly, it doesn't actually come with any kind of documentation, beyond the basics of setting up. I had to use AI to find information on the Internet, but even so, I still don't understand what half the buttons actually do. Having said this, once set up, it is good to use, with the main problem being that learning to fly a drone isn't an easy thing at all, and you need to understand that it will take you days before you are fully confident with managing thrust, while flying the thing, so don't go in thinking you'll be anywhere close to the kind of flying you see in war, or racing footage any time soon.
