If you are doing Alexa do these. I have tried many other plugs and bulbs, including Amazon Basics and they so far have all been garbage except these. Here is why. I suffer frequent power outages which puts alexa in a tizzy, often resulting in having to repair everything. The Govee lights and plugs do not suffer this. With Govee there is no pairing, just plug in the plugs or light bulbs and the Govee app finds them without issue. And even if Alexa decides to go unresponsive for days on end, the Govee app still controls all of its devices without issue. If Govee ever developes a voice control Alexa will be gone from my home.

These Govee Smart Plugs were so easy to set up; not only can I use the Govee app to turn lights on from anywhere, but they seamlessly connected with Alexa so I can voice command any or all lights as I walk in the door. This 4-pack is the best deal out there!

These Bluetooth outlets are great! They work perfectly with my Alexa and don't have to be paired again after a power outage (unlike other brands I've had in the past). They were so easy to set up through the Govee app and can be controlled through the app or by voice commands/routines with your Alexa. If I need more, I'm definitely getting more of these.

Super easy to set up, easy to use in the app. It works perfectly. I needed to be able to turn on and off a fan in the garage remotely. It picked up the wifi without issue and just works. 100% recommend.

Ok so first, I have several Govee products, including the outdoor lights. It’s fun. So I was excited to get these for my 4 Xmas trees so I can come downstairs with them turned on and not have to walk around at night turning them all off. So as it states, these do not support 5G WiFi. But most routers have 2.4 and 5G. Like mine. The problem is these kept trying to auto connect to 5G and giving an error. It would then tell you to go to settings to manually pick a WiFi network, but that would give another error code. I was about to pack them up to send back when I discovered a work around. So when it automatically tried to connect to 5G, click on the WiFi name block and manually type your 2.4 network name. In most cases, you are just deleting the _5G extension. And BOOM - connected!!! Showed up instantly in my Govee app and repeat 3 more times. Excited to walk downstairs in the morning and see my trees already on!

I've started to "automate" so many things in my house with these. Set it up and don't have to worry about it again. I like that it can be accessed remotely while you're away. And it doesn't have that light clicking timer noise that some of the electro-mechanical ones have, so it doesn't bother me while I sleep. Drawbacks: the app can be difficult to use, and the size of this plug can block another plug from using the nearby outlet. But it IS smaller than previous conventional timer plugs and provides so many more options. Govee products are my new go-to brand for home automation/connectivity!

What a great item! It is seriously so easy to set up and I can automate everything from my phone! My entire room is hooked up and I can turn on the light,fan, and tv all from my phone. What an amazing item! Great value for the pr8ce of what you're getting!

Why I bought this plug. First I bought a plug from Canadian Tire. I spent an hour trying to get it to pair with their app on my phone. It then wouldn't work with my GOVEE Themometer. The next day, their app had forgotten the plug. I returned it. Bought the GOVEE plug. It connected within 2 seconds. Setting it up in the app to be triggered by the thermometer took a bit of figuring but, that was all pretty figurable. So, I am happy with this smart plug.

Very satisfied with this product. Connected easily to the app. I bought it as I have a Christmas tree in my bedroom and I like to Leave it on while I read in bed. Wanted the option to be able to turn it off without getting out of bed and this worked perfectly.

The plug seems to work well and I haven’t had any connectivity issues. It was very easy to set up and connect to my wifi. I really like that they provide an API key upon request. The app is not terrible but could really use a hard look by a UX designer because the workflows are pretty unintuitive and not super flexible. I really had to get the old noodle churning to cludge together a solution via ios shortcuts. Worked in the end though and I’m happy with it. I’d recommend putting these guys on your guest network if you have one.
