Bought 2 of these to use in our bakery and they hold up very well. Accurate and strong.

This is scale is a workhorse, I've had one for more than two years, and just bought another as a back up if we ever need it. Easy to use and I like the back light feature. Very helpful. My kitchen staff uses it daily to weigh out pizza dough. Holds up very well. Easy to clean. I got wet once and I thought it was a done deal. I used our air compressor and blew any moisture out of the unit. It fired right up the next day. The metal cover plate can get a bit warped. But it doesn't affect its performance at all. I love that it has adjustable feet to even it out on any surface. Worth the cost, because you get what you pay for.. buttons hold up pretty well. But then to fade over time. Study and solid size for utility use. It weighs great in all different calculations and is very sharp. It shipped here fast and was easy to get it started right out of the box

Got this for my son who owns a food truck. It makes portion control much easier. It's restaurant quality and very sturdy. I'm happy with my purchase.

I've been using this scale for about a year now as a professional bread baker. It sees a lot if use on bake days and is always accurate and responsive. The body is plastic but built well enough to take abuse. The stainless steel tray removes for easy cleaning, and the plastic base below it also removes which is a nice feature. I dropped this scale from a few feet the other day and it still works fine. I was surprised and happy about that!! You will want to purchase the power cord if you plan to use it for long periods of time. I don't even bother with the battery option but I'll be happy to have it if the power goes out someday! I give it only 4 stars instead of 5 because it has a very noticeable buzz when I turn the display backlight on. It's annoying enough that I never use the backlight. It's also worth noting that the backlight is completely unnecessary if you have a normally lit kitchen. I may have a defective unit but I never tried sending it back for a new one because I just don't need the backlight. Overall I think it's excellent and highly recommend it! Please note it is an Escali (traditionally Italian) but is made in China--but what isn't?

My loaves are 900 g-1200 g and this is the perfect size to use for dividing in the cottage house/microbakery setting. I used a pan on top of a cheap Walmart scale, so you can imagine how fun that was trying to keep it from moving. Only downside is it doesn't stay on for long. And the cord doesn't usually come with it. It's optional.

I am an institutional cook. I batch cook for 100 to 600 meals over a 3 hour period. Portion control is critical and with this scales large platform and the ability to weigh up to 66 pounds I can easily hit my metrics. I use it for weekly inventory as it is either plug in or battery. The stainless steel removable top is easy to sanitize. The 66# limit and tare feature allows me to weigh right in my hotel pans. It has a footprint of about 12x12 in. And while sturdily built still light weight. I like it so much I use the same one at home. Grams, ounce, ounce and pound or just pounds the mode feature puts you in control I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.

After less than a year, it stopped working. Horrible mechanism. AND it is not cheap!!
