Nice heavy fabric with a bit of sheen. Mine look like the photo when done but it’s a challenge for one person to tie them evenly. I did four windows in my breakfast nook and now I just sit back and accept the compliments!

Great product for the price. I have ordered several in different styles and colors. The first photo is the new style in “pure white.” I had previously bought the standard style in “antique beige” (last photo) which worked wonderfully at our old house with bigger windows but it did not work as well for the window I wanted it to when we moved houses since the window I wanted to use it for in the new house was smaller (see last photo). So if you have smaller windows order the new style since they are able to be rolled up further. On bigger windows either style should work. I ended up ordering the new style in “elegant beige” for the smaller windows in our new house and it worked great (see photos 2 and 3). The material is nice and thick. It does have some sheen to it but is not too shiny where it looks cheap or anything. I read Some reviews where people said they did not know how to tie it but I did not find this difficult to figure out with their pictures included in the package. For the standard style you really just pull up the material and then tie and for the new style you will flip one of the ties over the front of the curtain rod and then tie with the other tie in back. I will typically gather the fabric like an accordion on one side and then make my bow, then do the same with the other side and last pull the fabric on one side or the other and the middle this way or that to make sure everything looks good and even. I'll be honest, I was expecting thin material. Absolutely not. These curtains are simply beautiful! The fabric is ultra soft and wonderful blackout quality! They even look great after being washed.

If you are buying these to spend a good chunk of time getting the installation pretty and then leaving them in that position long term (not adjusting the height or openness on a regular basis), then you're fine. These are well made of nice materials and do a good job of light blocking. But...the fan folding on installation, getting the bows to look even and nice, and then having to do it all over again upon adjustment is pretty inconvenient. I do recommend using straight pins to pin your folds while the curtains are still down, then hang, tie, adjust, and remove pins. I am a fiber artisan. I work with fabrics and make pretty things for a living and this is still too much inconvenience for me, especially since I will be having retreat guests in my home, B&B style, who may want to adjust the curtains easily. I am returning them. They are pretty, but they are literally a commitment that I'm not willing to make to curtains.

I have been looking for a curtain blind like this for a while and usually it’s very cheap material that doesn’t have that really weighted feel to it or that kind of weighted look, this is absolutely fantastic yes it does black light it does roll up I got the new style and I love it I am going to order a Nother one in the older style just because they have smaller sizing I would absolutely recommend this to anybody who has a awkward window that they need to dress up to tied the room together these are simple but really elegant and they have multi use I have this in the color light gray I would say it’s a little lighter than the photo but that’s not a huge deal I think the stitching along the seam is really good and it holds up really well I have spent over $200 on other blinds and curtains like this from other high-end companies but this so far it takes the cake it is one of those pieces that really ties the room together I will absolutely be buying more if you’re on the fence go ahead by one

I bought these in the moss green.I have one giant east-facing window with no buildings nearby, so when the sun rises it turns my room into a greenhouse. I wake up every morning in the summer on the surface of the sun. These curtains aren’t full blackout, but now my room is much cozier and cooler instead of feeling like an observation deck. I’m hoping they also temper the Midwest winter a bit (I’ve never been one for putting plastic up)I bought them because I wanted something I could stick on a shower curtain rod and not mess with any tools. I personally like the kinda sloppy tie-up look, but you might be annoyed if you want these to look well styled.Material is shinier than I was expecting, but I got over it

Work great in all categories.These proved their worth when I purchased three panels to use with a heavy 108 inch extension rod in order to stop direct sunlight and thermals from passing into my loft bedroom from four major high sun window panels which are 21 feet high.The thermostat use to reach 90 degrees in winter and past 100 degrees in summer. The outdoor temperature was no near this high outside.My idea worked! These are a great attractive thermal and light barrier. So far so good. I can also sleep and work in loft in afternoon now.I recommend purchasing these. Important to find the right color for your interior decorating scheme.

You get what you pay for. This is an easy, inexpensive solution if you have a very bright window especially in your bedroom. Not light blocking , but rather light shading. I have too much light coming through the blind in my bedroom. This shade/curtain helps. Material is lightweight - polyester or rayon -and not well made. I doubt it has any insulation properties. However, it does help to filter the light. I don't think it will be very durable, but it was quite inexpensive. If I wasn't so lazy I'd get some nicer fabric and make one. I bought white.
