Why did you choose this product over others?: Great watch looks good. Build quality is acceptable. Accuracy: Keeps excellent time, comfortable to wear. The watch dial is very pronounced and easy to read. Watch face looks good.

Prompt delivery. Have purchased this watch in the past. For an every day watch it is brilliant, inexpensive and functions really well. Last one I bought for my husband the battery lasted nearly 3 years.

Wanted a basic watch which i could read at night easily, spot on, absolutely perfect, good price as well.

For the price its a good little watch, seems to keep time well and too bad a looking watch.

UPDATE: I really can't recommend this watch now. It loses time and is currently more than 5 minutes slow. I have never had a quartz watch that loses so much time, even with a cheap movement. This is an incredibly cheap and cheerful watch, so most of its weaknesses can be forgiven. It looks quite good as a military/field watch and is fine as a daily 'beater'. It is light, flimsy and feels a bit cheap, of course, but is lifted by an after market NATO strap that matches its black and white face and steel case. It keeps fairly good time. BUT... I find it incredibly difficult to set the time accurately as the hands keep moving as I push the crown back in; the crown/movement is far too twitchy and sensitive. The whole process of setting time and date is fiddly and annoying. I guess this setting twitchiness highlights the cheapness of the quartz movement. I admit that I have a thing about setting the time accurately, so this bugs me. If you're not bothered that the watch is set a minute or two out, it won't be a problem. Overall, it's ok for the price but nothing more.

Just purchased and so far so good. Surprisingly well-made for what you’ve paid for and nice looking too. The functions are easy to use and I’m hoping I can get fair usage out of this watch which I’ve bought for work.

My first review blasted this watch to pieces, however I've found this isnt the case! When you first look at your watch take note of the button which helps alter the time. Your see a tiny piece of card that makes puts the button position in the Open mode, and due to the lightness of the piece, this enables the minute arm to swing about lose. Remove the card with tweasers or by fingers, it's a little tricky but it'll give after a few trys. Also I believe once the time is set and you push it in, it starts the watch working, as supposed to wasting the battery in the sleeve it's supplied in. It can be just a little hit and miss when you set the minute arm. As due to the lightness and budget, it's a bit happy go lucky, but again it isn't difficult. Now I'm a Citizen watch collector, with some of my pieces costing the price of a cheap second hand car, so I brought this for when im at my air base, if it gets damaged so be it, I'll just buy another, as supposed to sending one to Citizen for repair which won't be cheap. It's only been two days and I've had this synced to a watch that's remote controlled by the atomic clock, lol, I don't expect it to be accurate to a second every two million years lol, bit so far it's kept up nicely. Maybe every month it may need +/- a few minutes adjusted, but that's no big deal. It's actually a very nice design, not the weight I'm used to, but the pleasing cream face and off colour arms make it an attractive watch to wear, and as a first watch for a boy, (as this is more a guys watch), the strap is nice and of a sturdy nylon material, so I can see it lasting a long time, the glass is strong enough, the over all design doesn't look cheap, but has a little bit of a military feel to it, again great for us big kids lol. For once it feels like your getting your moneys worth, it's very light on the wrist, surprisingly very comftable, With well placed holes for wrist widths. Look, you can just about buy a large Donor Kebab & chips for less than this costs, and if the battery offers you a years use, then it doesn't owe you a pennie, strangely I never thought I'd say this, but it may be cheaper to buy a new one than buy a new battery, crazy value. As my only watch which isn't Citizen powered by Eco Tech solar & capacitor is an Accurist Skymaster, and it takes a battery that costs £15 fitted, so again it gives you an idea of the value for money offered here. I'm not a watch snob, I just love Chronograph Citizens, but I'm very pleased with this purchase, and depending on budget, or for who, you don't need to spend crazy money to have a nice watch. I hope this has been helpful, sorry it's been long winded, but I felt an honest review was in order, after me ranting before my Brain was in gear. If you've got this far, I thank you. :)

The pin holding the strap broke after one month of use.

Ctte montre présente très bien, fidèle à sa fiche produit. Parfaite pour remplacer a moindre coût feu ma montre quotidienne. Grands chiffres, fond clair et avec la date. Parfaite.

Exactamente lo esperado. Muy contenta con el reloj. A pesar de ser para hombres a mí me queda muy cómodo siendo mujer. La esfera es grande pero no enorme. Fácil de colocar hora y fecha. La correa pica un poco pero era lo esperado en este tipo de correas. Muy contenta con el producto. Precio inmejorable.

Pleasantly surprised with the appearance and quality of this watch, and the strap, which is in the $30 price range in Canada, so let's keep that in mind. It provides a clear view of the 24-hour times used in our business, 22:00 etc. So I automatically know we're talking 10:00 pm civilian time. My wrists are on the small side and the nylon strap just fits. So a strap replacement may be in order for big boned people. I just fired it up, so won't know for a while how accurate it is. Cannot post a photo at the moment, but looks good on small wrist. Cheers!
