Update: Elmer-USA web site is not manned. The web site does not give a phone number. If you purchase this item, consider the warranty through Elmer-USA (and this is what the seller promised me in writing) non-existent. I e-mailed them a month ago about a broken triangular latch for extending the wand - no response. I ordered replacement bags a month ago - they did not come. Wondering if my CC was charged.

Best vacuum ever bought. ordered bags online very easy made for bare floors

I only wish this vacuum sucked.
This vacuum was worthless. Maye it would have worked if we were using it with a bag - but without one -- it didn't suck at all. And not in the 'wow that sucks' kind of way -- more in the 'wouldn't pick up a piece of fluff off the floor' way. Spend your money on a Shark instead.

Vacuum ok, service for vacuum NOT
I have had this vacuum for many years, overall works very well, but to get parts or bags for this is a nightmare. Company never answers the phone, emails responses are none, and overall good business practice has a lot to be desired. I would never buy another Emer product again because of there lack of communication and the almost impossibility to get the bag required for this vacuum.
