60 Coleco games without having to struggle to plug in a single one of them!
To have 60 games (many of them classics) without having to struggle to plug in a single one of them and hope it catches this time without the static screen (as experience with the old 80's console), is a huge advantage with this Flash Back Colecovision Console. Highly recommended for fans of Colecovision who have since lost their consoles. Having grown up with the Coleco, this very affordable and compact mini console has many of the games I absolutely enjoyed back then, and it's amazing to see how well those same games are still fun today, many years later. The Heist plays perfectly at the right frame rate unlike some reports that mention it's too slow, and the other games are as accurate to the console versions as I remember them, including Frenzy, Squish 'Em Sam, Cosmic Avenger, Zaxxon, Venture, Space Panic, Montezuma's Revenge, ChopLifter, Dragon Fire, Destructor (collect the pink crystal bugs with your vehicle, drop them into the blue home base and avoid the Insecticons in an open map maze over several stages), Jungle Hunt (one of my all time favorites and this plays like the arcade version), Space Fury, and more. The controllers, once worn in a little, are responsive to your inputs most of the time and work as I remember them. Favorite home made game is the Ghouls 'n Ghosts like game, Princess Quest. Great console so far, buy it if you're a fan.

Not worth it.
This thing lies to you the second you look at the box. "Includes authentically designed controllers" no it really doesn't. If you've every played a colecovision you'll see and feel that these controllers suck ass. A lot of the built in games are games that you wouldn't never want to play besides "zaxxon" and the other 4 acarde hits that came with it. Not worth it.

Great old school games
The classic games I grew up with, for me, will never go out of style. These games are the reason why we have the games we have now. Some games just have to many buttons to use. Thank you for selling this game system online.

The games are still a lot of fun!
This is easy to hook up to any tv and the joysticks are easier to use than I remember. It includes plenty of the original games and it is easy to navigate through them. There are some games included that were apparently created well after Colecovision's original run ended. I was happy with the gameplay of the arcade games like Zaxxon and remember games like Frantic Freddy and Miner 2049er. I loved the Atari 2600 and Colecovision was a step up in graphics and gameplay before the Super Nintendo. The games are still a lot of fun. I look forward to hours of enjoyment.

Almost like the original
Well, if you can't go to a Goodwill Store and hunt for one, then this little console will do just nicely. It is the most accurate of the AT Games units--plays well, looks like the original, sounds excellent. Controls are a little stiff, but still workable. And the overall gameplay and feel is nice enough for the kids and the nostalgia gamer.

The controllers are great, unless you're a purist
The controllers are great, unless you're a purist. The emulation and game selection are good. However, this system's ROM failed within six months of light use. All that I see when I turn on this unit now is the video color band test. I also own the Atari Flashback, Intellivision Flashback, and the Sega Genesis classic game console from ATgames, and the ColecoVision Flashback without a doubt has the lowest build quality.

The Colecovision Flashback isn't bad, it's worth about $35 tops and I think ...
The Colecovision Flashback isn't bad, it's worth about $35 tops and I think I paid a bit under that amount. A few CV games worth owning is included, but the vast majority of the games I would never want to own. In the future it needs compatibility with other improved controllers, as in the Sega Genesis 3/6. But my biggest complaint is that At Games used the same very 1980's low quality RF audio/video connection rather than to upgrade it to HDMI. This would be a must for any of their gaming systems in the future. Even if that improvement moved the retail price over $50, it could be worth the added cost with what HDMI brings to the consumer. So in a nutshell, this Coleco Flashback is a fun little game for a short time that has already been relegated to the closet.

Old School is back.
Lots of old school games with original game play. A bit hard to get used to the controls after playing modern games but a bit of practice and it comes back.
