Save your money and go strait to purchising the good pottie pads, you won't regret it.
I have a disabled, 90#, Large Doberman. I bought 2 of these mats, a 72"x72" and a 40"x60". I bought these, and a dozen other brands and sizes of mats, as I wasn't certain which sizes or brands would work well. For the first year after she became disabled, the smaller pad worked great as she made no efforts to move herself around, instead happily demanding that we wait on her hand and food. However, over the last few months she's decided that we aren't waiting on her sufficiently, and she has taken to moving around a lot. Suddenly, the larger mat is the only mat in the house that works at containing any leaks. All the smaller mats are just pushed aside as she moves around, and in no time she was laying on the new carpets leaking everywhere. Thus my returning to purchase more of this size pad. Having had this, and several other brands of mats, I have to say that I have been very pleased with both of the mats I have purchased from this vender. Being disabled, my girl ends up picking up uti/bladder infections rather frequently. She gets the more unusual bacteria due to her circumstances, thus it takes longer to diagnose and treat. This means a lot of leaking and lack of bladder control fairly regularly. Two of the brands of mats weren't water proof. Those went into the trash really quick. Three of the brands of mats slip all over the carpet; stick to the velcro of her jackets and lift harness; and the outside fabrics and the inside batting/water proof fabric aren't sewn together in any place except for the edges. We do still use those, but only as a last resort. They are a real pain and weren't worth saving 75% of the price of a good mat on. The rest, including this brand's mats, have been great. They all get washed 1-3x per week in warm to hot water and tumble dried warm or hung over the porch railing. They don't hold any smell. They wash and dry easily and are still water proof when we need them to be. They are just easy to deal with and I am glad I spent the extra money to try them out, which I almost didn't after finding the ones we hate using which were so much cheaper. Of the different mats I did like, this was one of the less expensive brands. So, if you're still in doubt, just try it. You'll quickly understand why it's worth spending the extra money. Honestly, given how much I spent on disposable mats, these mats have already paid for themselves. And, since my girl shows no signs of slowing down or giving up any time soon, I'm back here saving money and hassle and purchasing several more of these mats. I'm definitely a happy customer.

Excellent for cats, too
I have a cat who refuses to urinate inside a litter box, possibly because he associates the box with discomfort from a now-solved bladder problem. We tried everything (and I do mean everything) to get him to return to the box, but nothing helped. Finally, his veterinarian suggested I get him pee pads, saying that cats usually like them. The idea of using pee pads sounded . . . stinky. Where would I store the used pads until trash day? Would the used pads smell and make my cats feel they had to start marking their territory? Would any odor coming from the pads encourage stray cats to mark our trash can? Also, I don't really like the idea of using something once and throwing it out if there's an alternative. So I searched Amazon to see if reusable pee pads existed. These were among several brands I found and they're the pads I like best. I set the pads up alongside my litter boxes, and was thrilled when my cat took to them right away. I've tried other pads, but the EZwhelp pads are my favorite pads for several reasons. They lie flat on the floor (no upturned corners) and they're a nice, neutral color. But one of the best things is that, when he pees, the fabric darkens enough for me to see at a glance that the pad has been used. (After using the pads for a little while, my cat realized he could cover up the wet spot by pulling one of the corners over it, but he doesn't cover it 100% of the time. I hate having to touch a pad to see if it's damp!) The pads are also very durable; I've been using these for well over a year and have yet to throw one out. Until I got these pads, my cat had been leaving puddles in several locations next to the litter boxes or close to the boxes. He now goes only on the pads. (I'd been worried my other cats would all start using the pads, but that hasn't been a problem.) For the record, the pads wash up very well. He generally uses two or three a day, and I always grab them and throw them through a rinse cycle in my washer to rinse out the urine and keep them from smelling. The pre-wash rinse also keeps down the urine content of the water when I run the wash cycle. Although my washing machine (which is very efficient in its use of water) gets the pads totally clean, if I'm going to dry the pads in the dryer, I use an extra rinse cycle at the end of the wash cycle for my own peace of mind. I'm very pleased with these pads and very happy I can find them on Amazon!

Great pads. Sizing can be off
These are so great and I have used them for close to a decade. There have been some Iโve gotten that are an inch or so short one direction which is inconvenient. I see people say they have trouble washing them and if you donโt do a few key things when washing that could be true. ALWAYS put in the washer with the soiled side out! I pull from the center so that it look like a folded umbrella and lay it in washer with the next one layered over it, max 4 in a washer. Wash on the bulk setting or use a full tub of Cool water, NO water saving washing. They are water proof and need to float in a full tub of water so HE washers will not clean them, NEEDS a full tub of water. I also use the soak setting before the wash cycle if really heavily soiled. Use a great detergent, Tide Hygenic is good or a good liquid natural detergent if you have very young pups. I also use Odoban liquid in the fabric softener dispenser. After all of this you wonโt have an issue.

Our doggie is getting old & sometimes thru the night needs to go outside but doesn't quite make it. With this big old pee mat, she has somewhere to go. I simply throw it in the washing machine & using an appropriate doggie detergent, give it a wash & hang out to dry. It's back on the floor by the end of the day.

I use these to line my guinea pig cage. It washes well and is the perfect size.

The pee pad is highly absorbent and does not have foul smell after one day use. Most importantly, it is washable and easy to dry under the sun. My dog loves the soft texture of the material as well.

I've ordered this a second time based on the absorbency. I have a small dog so I order the largest size and cut them to make several pee pads. Washing after cutting is perfect, so don't worry about the edges falling apart, still great quality as the day I cut this product to a smaller size. Other pee pads that are larger than what I cut this one to be, can't compete with absorbency.

It's a rebuild for me and my dog. Love it. Easy to wash.
