Favorite poop bags!
I like that these are โlandfill consciousโ instead of biodegradable as thatโs a greenwashing lie. These bags hold up well, are thick, and large enough that they can be double knotted for multiple pickups (if you have a dog that is a multiple poop per a walk kind of animal).

OMG they're awesome
OMG can you say I love these. They are nice and thick I have no problems with tearing or ripping and the fact that they are eco-friendly and landfill friendly makes them totally awesome I will definitely be ordering more they were a great value I haven't seen them anywhere locally but they are great. They're not see through at all you can there's plenty of room in them to put your hand inside pick up the poo turn it inside out and tie it I did not try them in my dispenser as my dog decided it was a chew toy but I've had no problems with them they tear easily off the role they're nice and large thick I'm just amazed and the fact that they're biodegradable makes it even better

Best dog poop bags Iโve ever tried!
Iโve been using these Doggy Do Good bags for 3 years. Iโve tried MANY before, during, and after that time. These are by far the best, hands down. They are big, but also get wider at the opening which is a huge plus. Most poop bags go straight up from the bottom, which can make pulling your hand full of poo challenging to pull back through the opening. Because of the extra width, it also makes it easy to twist up either into a single knot, or you can even twist it into two ends and tie a regular knot. Thatโs one of the best things about them imo. They are thick too. Some are so thin you feel like youโre practically touching poop with your bare hands ๐ I have one pictured with another compostable brand to show how DDG gets wider at the opening. Now Pet N Pet isnโt bad. Iโve used them before, and itโs what my daughter buys because theyโre cheaper. I will use them from time to time and Iโm ok with it. They are wider at the bottom, so even though they go straight up theyโre at least big enough for me to get my full hand back through. Theyโre quite a it thinner though. One thing though about the Doggy Do Good poop bags, they recently changed them up slightly with the printing and changed the box label. Right before that, they had a bad batch. I unfortunately got about 3-4 boxes of those bad ones. I knew something must be wrong, because they had been so reliable for years. I reached out to the company directly and told them what was going on. There was tearing and ripping issues, and I did end up having a bag fail mid pickup; the last thing in the world anyone wants to have happen! It was so disgusting ๐คข They of course were extremely apologetic and immediately sent me replacement boxes. They encouraged me to order from them directly, but 1) they kept being out of stock of the bags and wipes I use and 2) with my Amazon subscription pricing it was slightly less money last time I checked. If that changes, I will definitely order from them directly as I always prefer that. My point is, if you get a box that looks different from the picture on the product page, be wary. Youโll know as soon as you try to tear a bag if itโs the old defective ones. Itโs been several months, so Iโm pretty sure those have been replaced by now. Just a heads up. Oh, as for composting, I donโt generally use them for that. However, I was staying in Vermont for about half a year where they had industrial composting drop off. They took dog poop and cat litter! I know, sounds odd , but I learned that with industrial composting you can put that kind of stuff in there because of the high temperature process. I was keeping the full poop bags in a can lined with large compostable bags that I then took to the drop off. Of course Iโll never know how well they broke down, but I appreciated the ability to do that and not put it in the landfill. My main reason for using compostable bags was the hope that it could be at least slightly better for the environment even going into the landfill. It was a bonus for me that they are also the best!

Nice bag for a necessary job
A little pricey but I have two large dogs that love their walks. I like how easily they open when you go to use one. No struggling.

Great Quality Poop Bagsโฆ But Apparently, My Husband Needs Smaller Ones!
I love these poop bags! Theyโre sturdy, easy to open, and just the right size for picking up after our dog without any unpleasant surprises. Plus, theyโre eco-friendly, which makes me feel like Iโm doing a little extra good with every scoop! However, my husband, who seems to have developed his own scientific standards for poop bag dimensions, thinks theyโre โtoo big.โ I guess he prefers something thatโs more... precise for the task at hand. So now we have a drawer with an unnecessary poop bag divideโmine on the left (clearly superior), and his on the right (questionably small). All in all, if youโre looking for a good-quality poop bag that doesnโt feel like itโs going to disintegrate mid-scoop, these are fantastic! But if you have a partner with strong opinions on bag size, be prepared for some debate.

Keeps the smell in.
Easy to open bag. Better than grocery plastic bags.

Yes, WHAT Happened?!?
I have been using these bags for months now, was happy with their durability, seemed to even outlast a few below zero temps & rain showers when it was just too bad out to run to a dumpster to throw away. But, this last order? Much like another reviewer had said : "What happened?" - I simply saw the photo and was like that looks exactly like what has been happening to my bags! Saw her update was also from January 2024 - so this is definitely something they changed within their bag recipe, process or manufacturer/production line - something happened. I am on my LAST roll - and the entire time I thought "okay, maybe it was just one roll that keeps splitting down the middle - or ripping upon opening...or tearing while I walk dropping magical poo-confetti for all....so then I had to use a 2nd bag to double bag and re-pick up all the pieces....that I noticed at that time. Could've dropped others before then without realizing... because: I thought you all had a reliable & sustainably made bag for a good price, but maybe the lack of price has had an affected the level of quality? Each and every bag I used from the 6 rolls ripped to where I had to get crafty on how pick up with poo logs not falling on me & rolling out while maneuvering this lovely task we try very hard to avoid. While my 1 year old dobie-mix puppy with a ton of energy pulling to chase birds, squirrels...it's a hoot, lemme tell ya. I just logged in like a robot to Amazon to order poo rolls, and was like HOLD UP, are you really going to pay them for another batch of bags that rip ?? I will if they can refund me for the last and guarantee me that this set of rolls will have the quality of the originals we were all used to using. .. And lastly, yeah....WHAT happened??

(Updated!) Durable, eco-friendly bag from an awesome mom-and-pop store!
Update 3 years later: this is still the only bag we use. In the 3 years with 2-3 bags per day I have had exactly 4 defective bags. Everything I wrote below is still true, but I just wanted to give it a little more oomph now that more time has gone by. My parents, in-laws, and siblings all use these bags for their pups too! Short version: this is the only bag we intend to use with our new puppy for the foreseeable future. We are new dog owners and wanted a bag that was 100% eco friendly--not some bag that would disintegrate into microplastics which some 'degradable' bags do. After some research we found this and my environmental engineering friend gave us the thumbs up! The box and spool that the bags come on are also made from recyclable paper materials too. The company also donates some of their profit to local shelters. In 3 weeks of use with a puppy who eliminates ~4-6x per day we have not had one defect or tear in any bag. We have the standard size. Pros: -100% bio-degradable: NO MICROPLASTICS!! -Standard size is bigger than the plastic baggies we had before--great for people with larger hands -Friendly 'mom and pop' company based in USA -Fast delivery from either Amazon or directly from their website -Fits inside our standard dispenser -Despite thicker bags, they tear off easily, the perforations are good -Opaque (not sure if this is a 'pro' but it's appreciated anyway!) Cons -Costs ~$0.02-0.04 more per bag than a standard plastic bag -Bags are thicker than plastic bags, *might* have trouble in a dispenser? For us this wasn't an issue. (The company's larger baggies might have trouble in a dispenser?)

Perfect BPI Compost Bags for Large Dogs
Perfect for large dog owners who want a compost friendly solution. They are BPI certified, which is a must where I live. The bags are bigger than expected, which is especially nice when you have a bigger dog. The bags are of high quality and is thicker than other compostable doggie bags I've tried. I didnt notice any added perfume scent from the bags (which i perfer anyways), and they do hold the dog poop smell very well. They open very easily without to much fumbling around. Highly recommend, I'll be buying these from now on.

Excellent bags for big dogs!
I was looking for a biodegradable product (not just a product made of recycled materials) to use for my three dogs, including a Great Dane. The size and durability are perfect for my needs. I can toss them across the yard without breakage. They are wonderfully bundled, with no ripping between bags. Great product and highly recommended!

Eco Friendly Poop bags
The poo bags were easy to open, the right size for my small dog and they are durable. The little peel sticker that holds the roll together when you first use the roll is very sticky and I made a small hole in the bag but it didn't effect the overall effectiveness of the bag.

Expensive not worth it
Very expensive for how little you get. Also a bag popped on me when I went to tie it up. Luckily I had another bag or dog poop would have been everywhere. Better value with another type of bag. May be thick but not heavy duty and expensive for how much you get. Will not be ordering again.
