Very simple to use. Just fill the inner filter full of coffee grounds (whatever flavor you like), pour water slowly over the grounds to fill the 1/2 gallon jar up to the top, screw the lid on and put in the fridge for 24 -48 hours to brew. After the allotted brewing time, remove jar, remove grounds filter, dump grounds into the trash, fill jar to the top with more water- the coffee is very concentrated and this lets you have the full 1/2 gallon of cold brewed coffee. The filter is easy to clean with the provided scrub brush and the handle and pour spout are very handy - they make it easier to pour my coffee!

I LOVE this! I've been spending too much $ for too many years on expensive cold brew coffee. Even from the grocery stores..with this I get really rich flavor and I completely control WHAT goes in my coffee. Glass is really decent quality. It's not flimsy. The plastic cover is just ok. I don't use a dishwasher, but I could see it not fairing well in a dishwasher. It works great for me and I'm saving sooo much $ now on coffee. Definitely recommend

It makes making your own cold brew very easy. It doesn't leak and cleaning is super easy. The jar is great quality. It's glass isn't thin or fragile and takes up about as much room as a half gallon of milk. If you want something that makes home brewed coffee easy I would get this. It does come with instructions.

Fantastic cold brewer! My only issue is the bag of coffee for cold brew had one set of instructions (ratio of coffee to water) and the brewer had something different. So I brewed my first pitcher and now I know what I need to do to tweak it. Considering how much a cup of cold brew costs at a shop, I’m stoked to be able to make my own at home! And it was delish!!!! And you can brew it at room temp, but brewing it in the fridge will yield a smoother and less acidic taste, if you can wait that long for the result ;)

Works like a charm!! I added more coffee grounds than called for , and let it sit 24 hours. It’s Perfect!! I like mine strong but you can dilute with water also ! Saving money at home never tasted so good 😊

Overall thia cold brew coffee maker is wonderful. I add only cold water and let it steep the coffee grounds over the course of a few days. I also add some Chai bags to give it a more round flavor profile. The coffee comes out smooth, having the good flavors of coffee but none of the bitter or acidic flavors. Cleanup of this unit is a breeze the coffee comes out of the filter easy, specially eith a course ground.

I use this every day and it makes great coffee. I just use regular coffee so it doesn't have to be a special grind. I pour it through a coffee filter in a funnel to add it to a gallon container in the fridge. There's very little in the filter but I just do it to make sure no grinds get through. It's very simple to use and clean. Would definitely buy again.

So I have had 3 different cold brew makers. While they did the job, and made the coffee, there was always something I figured out I didn't like about it. This one is fabulous. It is leak proof. Dishwasher safe. Has a handle. The glass is thick like a mason jar, making it more difficult to crack (I had one previously that I liked, but the glass ended up cracking because it was thin and fragile). I've ground my own coffee and used pre ground beans. Sometimes I just don't want to ground the beans as I don't want to spend the extra time (advice, this makes a stronger coffee, which can be adjusted to taste by just adding more water or milk). Some cold brews, the filter is mesh making it not dishwasher safe or easily to tear. Some with metal filters, the holes are too large and the pre ground coffee seeps through the holes. This one you can use either and the holes are so small NO coffee gets through. The fact that its metal makes it more durable than mesh ones, and fit for the dishwasher. To top it all off, the price point is good too. It is on the cheaper side cost wise, but definitely high quality. My only (small) critique would be that the top could use a button of sorts to pop it open (like Owala's water bottles). The top on this one is like a shaker blender bottle that you snap closed and have to use some force to pop it open. I am sure that this is to make it leak proof, but I could see some people with limited hand mobility finding it difficult to open. This is not the case for me though, and I find that ALL other positive features outweigh this small critique. I would definitely buy this again.
