Keeps Trespassers From Stealing My Fruit! Until it Stopped Working
For years, strangers have been coming into my yard and stealing our mangoes! They walk up the driveway and through 10 feet of yard and, bold as brass, steal the fruit right off our tree. We wait for the fruit to tree-ripen, but they come in with bags and just take what they want. These aren't kids, they're grown adults (some over 60!) trespassing! A couple of times, entire families just raided it. I've tried yelling at them, but they just scamper off with whatever they want. It's a bit ridiculous! We planted the tree, take good care of it, and they just come and steal the fruit! This year, I decided to try the animal blaster! And it worked! A couple of times, we heard squeals as the water soaked the thieves, but we finally have fruit! It's so nice to be rid of this headache! Victory is ours!! :) The motion sensor is adjustable, so I've set it to where it won't go off in the wind, only when a person is walking toward it. It doesn't leak, so no water waste, and I adjusted the tap so the water goes right where I want it. It works great! After we've eaten all our fruit (finally!) I'll use it to keep the rabbits out of the fall vegetable garden. UPDATE: So it mysteriously stopped working after 5 months. :( I was using it to scare away rabbits and it just stopped entirely. Tried new batteries, that didn't work. I called Amazon to ask about the included 1 year manufacturer's warranty and they didn't have any way to contact the manufacturer. But Amazon said I could return it. Sad that what was a great product just konked out. I'll order another one from a different manufacturer and see how that goes.

Keep deer from eating plants.
The repeller seems to work fine. The instructions are lacking. More picture are needed. The box contained a couple of parts. One was an extension that goes below the sensor/batter to raise the unit up about another 6 inches. The connection on one end was different than the other so I could not figure out how it worked. The second part is device to adjust the distance. I could not figure where it is suppose to go to be turned to MIN or MAX. Another problem is the little card included that advises the device has a 2 year warranty. Whether you try to log on or use the QR code, you get a warning advising "The connection to umbagroup.com is not secure." I don't connect to those. Again, better instructions with pictures would help. With the limitations mentioned it seems to work well. I'll hold a final rating after I see how long it lasts and how many batteries it requires. If it last a year or so, I will consider another one.

Works Great
We use this to keep away the deer. They love eating our plants. This gives them a bit of a spray and our plants live another day. Nothing else worked before this.

This thing stinks!
Wow, what a great idea....gone HORRIBLY wrong. I was going away for a week and was concerned that my prize garden would be ravaged when I return. Thankfully, upon my return, the garden was okay, but, only due to the grace of god, because my 10 day old Cobra had stopped working. I set the item up per instructions and was really excited about the purchase when I left as it had been functioning well upon setup. Well, I returned from my vacation and was tiptoeing well around my proverbial tulips so as not to trigger the "lethal" Cobra and was surprise to find out that it was not sensing me. I approached....nothing....checked the battery case and resituated the batteries it started to work again, soaking me....no worries, right? At least it 'seemed' to be working...a few hours later, I went to harvest some Asparagus, and again the Cobra was either out of town or dead asleep because it completely missed me again. I checked the sensitivity dial-check. Opened the battery case again, jiggled the batteries as the first time and nothing happened. Changed the batteries to brand new batteries, nothing happened...until I tapped the battery case again, but this time, the Cobra awoke and would not shut down.....out there like a general lawn sprinkler....i tried to tap the battery case again, turn the sensitivity down and nothing worked. Suffice to say, as a frequent amazon shopper, it is one of the single worst purchases I have EVER made. Cheap, unreliable, and now, broken--what a POS!

Not built to last
I would give this a five star review... IF they lasted longer. I just bought two more because they work so well (deer problem) but the previous two only lasted 1 ½ years!! The sprinkler head broke one one and the sensitivity of the other one was uncontrollable and not working at all. And, yes, I have taken care of them - brought them inside in the winter and removed the batteries.

Deer Defense - we are using 4 of these units...
We have a large yard and have had problems with Deer eating our Hostas and other plants for several years now. We have used sprays, spread dog hair, etc. and they all worked, right up to the point that the Deer get hungry enough to just ignore them and mow down our plants. I now own 4 of these Hoont Cobra sprayers and in every location we use then the Deer stay away. I know because I only used to have 2, and where I was not using them the Deer eat our plants earlier this spring. I have tried one higher end sprayer from a different company and it was not worth the additional dollars. These Hoonta Cobra units work, have great detection range, don't leak (like my more expensive model does) and are easy to use. Battery life appears to be good although I have not tested that feature in detail. The one hassle to keep in mind is that these units, like most of them in this price range, do not turn on/off at dusk/dawn, and so I have to manually arm/disarm our Deer defense system every evening/morning. I found that forgetting to disarm them in the morning tends to upset your package delivery folks, so keep that in mind.

Leaks water and continuously triggers
I purchased this product as an inexpensive deterrent for the neighborhood cats who keep digging up the garden I am working on. This sprinkler suffered from several problems during the two days that I attempted to use it. First it leaked water from every connection. Every. Single. Connection. So I tried to seal it up with Teflon tape. This stopped the leaking well enough. But it got me to the fatal flaw in the design. The valve seeps, very slowly. This causes water to leak from the sprinkler head and pool on the housing for the motion sensor. When the water drips off, it runs down the front of the sensor housing and drips in front of the sensor. Triggering the sprinkler over. and over. and over. again. Until the impact sprinkler loosened itself and spun off the top of the unit. If the valve didn't leak, this still happens from the water left over after the sprinkler triggers. I reassembled with more teflon tape, still no improvement in the leaking. If the sensor housing was shaped or mounted differently then it would probably work fine for my needs. But unfortunately this product is poorly designed and I will be forced to return it and try another brand of motion sprinkler.

Scares off the trash pandas!
I recently built a pond in the back yard, landscaped around it, filled it with fish and was loving it for about a week until the raccoons found it and started going for midnight swims and eating all the water lettuce and hyacinths. (I think the fish are still too small for them to notice). I bought this to see if it would be effective at scaring them off and found it works great, (if only I could remember to leave the water turned on at night). My outdoor camera has now caught quite a few instances of the trash pandas getting scared off by the sprinkler. The sensitivity angel is somewhat narrow so I’ve ordered a second one to install on the other side of the pond. Should be easy to install the second one as they have a hose extension cap that allows you to install these in series from a single water source.
