Amodex Ink and Spot remover, 4 fl oz

I love Amodex. I bought it to get ink out (love fountain pens but they can be messy). To my surprise it outshines the usual stain removers for almost everything. Fruit juice, oil stains, chocolate, blood. I use it for everything. Great value for money from my stance- after all if I can't get the stain out, I might as well throw whatever it is away. And the only time it hasn't worked for me was when I tried something else for grease first, then tried to relaunder it with Amodex. Amodex works fine on grease if it's used first. Its easy to use. I treat the item as soon as it happens, then wash it when I'm ready with the rest of the laudry. It works fine. I just wish it came in larger size bottles.

This is THE go-to for ink, wine, berry stains! I have about 5 different stain removers, but I always keep Amodex for the sole purpose of ink/berry stains. Follow the directions--apply to dry fabric. IT WORKS EVERY TIME !

Useless. Waste of my money and time. Very frustrating. It didn’t take out the highlighter marks. I followed the instructions to the Tee. I should have listened to the other reviews.

Thought I’d ruined 4 dress shirts and 2 pairs of dress pants when I washed them with a black pen. The usual recommendations - rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, etc. - barely made a dent and I was ready to give up. Found this stuff searching for other options and have been amazed. It took multiple treatments - aggressively spot treat with Amodex, cold water wash with oxygen-based cleaner - but have been able to completely remove the stains. Wish I’d found this years ago!

Amodex is definitely my go to spot remover. I’ve used it on my own clothing, doll clothes, a Nugget couch cover, and more with great success for all kinds of stains. As a soap based remover, it works a bit different than some others— you need to rub it in and for tougher or older stains you should let it sit for some time before washing it out. You can do this with your fingers (which will also get nice and clean!) and it shouldn’t stain your fabric even when you let it sit for hours before washing off. Definitely recommend this for every household!
