These are great for acoustic players or those that have a strap button on the back of their instrument. I personally despise strap buttons placed on the back of guitars as they allow the guitar to fall forward away from you and make them uncomfortable to play. As well, strap buttons on the back of a guitar always seem to catch on clothing etc at the worst times. These can also be used to attach things to your belt like cords or whatever. Use your imagination! My only complaint is that the leather is a bit thin compared to others I've had, but they do the job and won't break or come undone. Actually, the thin leather is a plus compared to the typical thick heavy strap adapters when used on electric guitars that generally have less room under the strings at the nut compared to most acoustics. Brown and black leather selection covers most all applications. Mandolin players rejoice! These were made for you, as well as guitarists! They won't scratch the finish on your fine instrument like string or other concoctions I've seen either. A worthy investment for any player to have on their instrument(s) or in their gig bag! Enjoy!

I have used these on three ukuleles - 2 concerts and a tenor, and they fit just fine. No problems with getting the straps attached, or it fitting around the neck. If you don't want to tie your ukulele strap, get these!

These have no issue holding up my heavy resonator. Nice leather headstock straps.
