Eraser is too small
I love Zebra pens, so I was hoping to love these pencils, too! I still love their overall grip, weight, etc. however, the eraser is almost useless. It is so thin that using it new almost snaps it off the pencil and then there is so much that is not useable left in the plastic holder, it’s a wonder it even had an eraser to begin with (see pictures, I can’t erase with this pencil anymore). The lead is also a concern, for me. It’s super thin .7 and snaps easily. I wish that .9 lead was an option, but thats more of a personal choice. These pencils look beefier and more sustainable, but they are for sure disposable. I am not going to even mess with replacing the eraser and to have a separate eraser for my day to day use seems silly. I could maybe see these being useful for a drafter, but even then - questionable…

Life is too short for other brands!
I use only this product pencil. Literally. One day I went through the house and through my school bags and tossed out every pencil that wasn’t a Zebra and then stuffed my drawers and backpacks with my Amazon shipment. Now when I reach for a pencil I KNOW I will have a sharpened pencil lead that won’t break and an eraser that hasn’t fallen off or that won’t smudge.

Happy to find these replacement erasers
Happy to find these replacement erasers for the Z-Grip Plus mechanical pencil, since I can’t find them in any shop. My high school kid is environmentally conscious and is happy to be able to use his pencils from last year with these erasers. Great value for the price, as well.
