I have had nervous eating habits for quite awhile. Almased shakes have been great in self-control and bringing my blood sugar down.

These shakes taste quite good, even if only including water and powder in the shaker. Very easy and convenient. I tried both the vanilla and original and I liked the original best. I gave 4 stars because I hoped that even though they are only dairy and soy (the dairy being skim milk and cultured) that the dairy would not be a problem for me -- but I once again had to learn that I personally have to avoid all forms of dairy products. Otherwise, I think it's a great meal replacement shake.

Thought I would try a friend did it and then another family member did and had great success . I did the 3 day detox and lost 5 pounds. Now doing two a day with a lean meal and have lost 2 pounds. The first 3 days I mixed with water and coffee and was good. Today I added raspberries and very good

I am not one for artificial sweeteners or sweeteners such as monk fruit or stevia. To me they give drinks an off taste. Almased doesn’t use any of these. The shake tastes good. Makes you feel full. Backed by studies.

didn't like the grainy taste

I bought this hoping it would help with weight loss. It did not. But, it did help with sustaining energy for about 3-4 hours and I was not hungry. The taste is almost nothing, kind of chalky but not offensive. I like all the vitamins etc in it but wouldn’t recommend for weight loss.
