I got this as an upgrade for my switch and wow it is so much better. I got it for 225$ sale so if you wan t to buy make sure it’s on sale. Pros: Cheapest next gen console Great graphics and performance on most games Quick resume: you don’t have to reboot up your game if you stop playing Gamepass some amazing games on there. Cons Storage is only abt 400gb and expansions very costly Only digital so no getting gmaes from your friends or buying/renting used one My favorite games are WRC ea sports (rally racing game )and no man’s sky(sci-fi space exploration game)

Good morning. I did not return that. Xbox Series starter bundle because my grandson he would take it like that. But I just found out that the controller is not working. Since it hasn’t been too long. Can you fix that for me please? And what do I need to do? Thank you, Nellie.

Microsoft pushed an update, which seemed to crash the console. Cycling my modem did not fix it. Cycling the router did seem to fix it. Indeed, there is some special thing between this box and the router vs the modem. Good news is that after needlessly resetting to factory and reloading program content, everything came back to center. Won’t make that mistake again. The weird part is all the other devices came back on line after cycling the modem, and had no router issues. The XBox seems to have a particular router thing.

If you're looking for Next Gen gaming on a budget, don't search anywhere else, this console got everything to start playing on Series X/S titles, down size would be storage capacity, though there are some options to upgrade this. For it's price and 3 Month Ultimate Game Pass included, nothing beats it.

I love my Series S and just wish that I had been able to purchase it when it first launched, but was saving my money and waiting for a price drop as I still have a working Xbox One, 360 and an Original Xbox in my household. I have been on Team Xbox since 2001, and when the Series S was announced I will admit to at first having my doubts about the system especially when I heard it was going to be a "Digital Only" console. I have over the years built up quite the collection of Xbox, 360 and Xbox One games but since I have all 3 generations of those systems, with working disc drives, it was not a real deal breaker to not have a disc drive in the Series S---and not enough of a hinderance to force me to want to but a Series X. For my needs I find the Series S more than adequate for 99% of the games I want to play on it. The only games I noticed had issues, and still seem to have issues are Far Cry 5 and Cyber Punk. Even on the internal HD those games are really laggy and unenjoyable to play. And while Far Cry 5 is one of those games that can technically be played off of an external drive, doing so is even more unenjoyable. For everything else though, the system is more than up to the task and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle plays flawlessly and looks gorgeous on my Series S and my 4K TV. The controller feels smooth and responsive, and I use rechargeable batteries for my controller and have no issues with the controller quality or quality of sound. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a must for the Series S in my view with the system being all digital as this always gives you something new to play. While the internal HD could definitely be a bit beefier, and you will find that you will have to install/uninstall games and move things back and forth from a portable drive fairly often---you can still usually have between 5 to 10 or more games installed internally. Out of the box this system is more than enough to meet my gaming needs, and with Developer Mode and some know how this system also becomes an emulation powerhouse for your older/retro games.

The product was exactly as described. It’s also the fastest loading console I’ve ever owned. I’m very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new console. The only downfall is the amount of space the hard drive has. I was only able to install 2 games on it as they were fairly large games but still being a digital machine it should come with more space. I hope this helps anyone that’s contemplating on a new console…

I did not receive 3 month game pass subscription. This is false advertising. I have requested for item to be repalced and i hope this time i will receive the game pass subscription.
