I got this, because it's a thunderbolt to Display Port. I needed it to hook up my HP laptop to my MSI monitor. I am mentioning this in case anyone has doubts about whether it can work. I purchased a 4K monitor with a higher refresh rate (160) although all I use it is for office work. I just wanted a smoother display. I was unaware that an HDMI 2.0 cable would have limitations though. My work laptop is an HP Elitebook 840 G8. It has HDMI 2.0 whereas the monitor has 2.1. The laptop does however have a thunderbolt 4 port. Although the manual noted that the limit for a display is 4k at 60HZ, getting this wire let me get 4k resolution with 120Hz and even a 144Hz and 160Hz refresh rate. I found this impressive. This cable helped. One thing I did notice though and I don't know if it has anything to do with the cable however it takes a a bit for the monitor to wake up when the computer goes on. I didn't have this with the HDMI cable. I'm assuming its the wire. A quick change in ports fixes it though.

This cable is awesome. I have an Asus ROG Strix XG49WCR and recently bought a 2025 Alienware Area-51 18inch laptop that has an RTX5090. The problem being the monitor I have only supports high refresh rates on display port 1.4. The Alienware laptop annoyingly only has a HDMI port along with 2 thunderbolt 5 ports. HDMI to HDMI I was only able to achieve 75hz and 5120x1440. This cable which I did not realise existed has saved the day. I no longer need a fancy monitor which supports high refresh rates over the HDMI connection, instead this cable has allowed me to all the way up to 165hz. The screen now is at full resolution and full refresh rate capabilities. It is buttery smooth and there is no flicker or any other form of glitching. Well done UGREEN. If you own an Alienware Laptop and want to connect to a high refresh rate monitor, then this cable is the way forward as long as you have a thunderbolt connection (3,4 or 5). Also, if your monitor supports a newer display port and not 1.4, there are other cables UGREEN do that support this. Cable length is great as I ordered a long one, the quality is good. The connections are not heavy and the cable too, which is good for me. It does not lack quality due to it being light rest assured. The price was also great!

What can I say - does as it says on the tin. Cables work perfectly as described and feel very sturdy with the metal housings and braided cable. I have to praise Amazon for the same day delivery on these. Ordered two of these at lunchtime and they arrived at about 7:30pm the same day. Using them to drive two monitors via a thunderbolt dock. They work perfectly at 1440p 120Hz in HDR with no flickering or glitching of any kind.

These cables work really well, I have the 1m ones and they pass the required picture quality. They are even flexible enough to work with my Ugreen KVM switch and Dock with no issues, even though it says on the listing not to use with a KVM switch. They are long enough for my set up and decently priced for the quality you get.

Pomimo prawidłowego wykrywania monitora, obraz się nie wyświetlał, pozostawał czarny. Za to dość regularnie monitor zgłaszał "brak sygnału". Nie wiem czy uszkodzona sztuka, czy po prostu kiepski model - leci zwrot. Testowane na dwóch różnych komputerach, dwóch różnych monitorach oraz trzech systemach (MacOS, Windows, Linux).
