One Large 3" Inch Diameter Hardened Chrome Solid Steel Bearing Balls, Vigorous Precision Balls

What more could you ask for? They're big, they're metal, they're round. Bought to help weigh down filament spools in an ams-1. Went up a size based on anecdotal mentions of 1.5" and 1.75" sometimes not being heavy enough. 2.0" is a bit too heavy unless the spool is VERY low, so if you're here reading reviews about giant ball bearings because of your 3D printer spools slipping, be advised these 2" ones are a bit too heavy No marks off for the product or seller of course, the product is as advertised and of good quality.

They make great cannonballs

Well heck! I didn't think it was going to be so perfect. I bought it as a sail shade weight to anchor against wind. The surface of this monster looks like a perfect mirror, a proper gazing ball, if you will. I'm reluctant to drill it and let it get scratched up. I guess I'll have to mess around with it until I naturally bruise it up. It is HEAVY, a seriously dense, polished, perfectly round sphere. I showed it to my neighbor and handed it to him -he almost dropped it because the heft is so unexpected. package arrived quickly, and I'm both pleased and humbled.

These bearings are perfect for my display. I am sure they would be great for their intended use, but I am using them as decorations in a display. These precision cut bearings work well and they add that little extra exactly where it is needed. All 5 bearings are in great condition. The size and shine are exactly what I hoped for when I bought them. The bearing size is very good as is their weight. They are very durable, too. Recommended... in displays and in their original, intended use.

This 3" bearing arrived packaged in bubble wrap and was flawless in appearance. I bought this as a desktop novelty, and it is perfect, at a competitive price too.

I am a hobby blacksmith and I purchased this ball bearing to create a tool for shaping and texturing copper ladles. I have made several copper as well as steel ladles on this bearing now. I’ve missed a couple times with my hammer but the bearing still has no mars or dents. Very tough smooth steel! It has also been out in my barn for months and there is absolutely no rust. This tool should last a LOOONG time. I was actually surprised at the affordability of this item, I had thought a bearing this big would cost a lot more. Very happy with my purchase.

This thing is awesome for the simple fact it's a 3" ball of steel. Heavy, cool to the touch..... no clue what I'm going to use it for.. probably a big monkey fist, but for now it's just a cool ball of steel B-)

Needed these to replace balls in an arrow ball clock. These fit the bill bright and shiny. They come packed in oil and will need to be washed before use.

I use this for a pendulum demo for science. It an impressive, heavy, smooth perfectly spherical metal ball

Not spherical, 0.2mm out of round. Also not 3.5" in diameter. Actually 3.550" average diameter.

Great finish, excellent weight. If you are looking for a HEAVY "fidget toy", you won't be disappointed.
