Is there much fluctuation in temperature when you turn the temperature button? Mine doesn't get cold when turned all the way down.

No there is very small fluctuation in temperature and when I turned down is proper cold

What is the difference between the theGrohe smart control box reference 29124000 and 29148000

I’m not 100% but I think it is the safety feature with the 38 degree temp shut off is present on 29124000 but not on the latter. If a child were to turn the dial all the way to hot, the 29148000 would allow this change, the 29124000 has a point at 38 degrees which you can’t turn it past without pushing in a button to move it further (and make it hotter)
