As I'm getting older (I'm 64), my fingernails have really changed - thicker, not as translucent somehow, some very ridged and brittle and easy to break. I've been using all sorts of oils and taking supplements with no massive change, so I tried this. For my nails, it has really worked. I transcribe (very fast typist) and craft with paper and vinyl constantly (that's what I do for a living) and I wash up by hand and always forget to wear gloves for any chores. The polish lasts for ages without chipping - in fact, the only reason I have to change it is because it grows up and looks messy at the cuticle. The matt finish looks lovely and natural and the shade is perfect. I wear it all the time now, and my nails look great. Yes, it's expensive, but absolutely worth it. I use two coats, usually, or more if I actually want to hide ridges. It is easy to apply and dries quickly. I wear the polish constantly. I've had this bottle about a month, I think, and it's maybe 1/5th down the bottle. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be buying it again when this bottle runs out.

A bit pricey but better alternative to going to nail salon. Ideal for my short, damaged nails, which are recovering from years of acrylics. The shimmery pale pink disguises the undulations of damage. Perfect for what I need to help nails recover. Fast delivery too!

Active Shine - lovely glimmer, quite a pale colour - looks elegant. Applied 2 coats earlier - I like the fact that it is also a strengthener as my nails can split and peel at times. Minus one star as rather expensive but if it works then I would say 5 stars! As it only arrived today I will have to see.

This is my everyday polish/treatment. It has a lovely shimmer which will become more of a sparkle with additional layers. I usually were it alone (2 coats) and sometimes over a layer of active bright. This will easily last me a week of wear without any noticeable chips. So perfect for holidays. No base coat or top coat needed.

Good quality product and easy to use. Unfortunately the colour is not as advertised and has lots of blue pigment in it which is not great against pale skin. Two layers left of polish give transparent blueish shine

Love it! It goes on really easily and has a lovely shine to it without looking glittery. And it lasts for ages. I keep my nails quite short, but after 3 days of gathering logs, chain sawing them and chopping them into smaller pieces, none of my nails had chipped! It's a very subtle colour and gives you a lovely, natural sheen to your nails. I hardly every wear nail varnish because they end up looking so tatty so fast, but this stays so well and it's pretty healthy as far as nail varnishes go too. Plus it comes off really easily with a mild nail varnish remover.

This is a very pretty nail polish. I wear one coat, without a bascoat (it's not needed) and it's like a slightly more sparkly/interesting clear polish. The best bit for me is that the feel of it doesn't make my nails feel dirty, or unpleasantly coated, which lots of nail polishes do. It's my first purchase from Manicurist, and although £16 is expensive for a nail polish (objectively!) I plan to get others from the Active range. I definitely recommend.

This does not do what it is supposed to do! I saw adverts showing two coats of this polish gave a lovely pale pink finish. I applied 4 coats and the polish is still see- through and all the lines on my nails are still visible. This is a very thin product and after 4 caots it looks as though nothing has been applied. I cannot imagine how many coats it would require to have pale pink nails. In my view an absolute waste of money and completely misrepresented in the company’s adverts on social media.

Wow!!! J’ai eu un salon médico esthétique pendant 15 ans et je suis extrêmement difficile à satisfaire. Je voulais trouver une alternative pour éviter les manucures gel qui serait plus rapide à faire et à enlever, mais qui donnerait résultat similaire en terme de brillance, et ce vernis et un miracle! Il sèche très vite, s’applique super bien et mes ongles ont l’air tellement sains et naturellement parfait avec seulement 2 couches! J’adore!! Je vais m’acheter toute la gamme! C’est la première fois en 8 ans sur amazon que je prend la peine d’écrire un commentaire ou laisser une note, ça en dit long!

Barely any coverage. The pictures promoting it gives you the completely wrong impression. After 2 coats you see some shine and hints of sparkle. Not fast drying at all. I took the pictures 20 minutes after applying. Such a waste of money 😞

Es una de mis marcas favoritas de esmaltes: siempre ofrecen buena calidad y resultados duraderos. Este brillo, en concreto, deja un acabado sutil, pulido y muy natural, como si llevaras las uñas impecables sin esfuerzo. Ese efecto de “manos recién lavadas” es totalmente real. Me encanta

Muy buen producto y aguanta mucho en las uñas y queda bonito ,yo le doy toque final un brillo para fortaleces las unas ,aunque este que me pedís mi opinión también es protector de unas pero tiene poco brillo ,y mi trabajo me estropea las uñas ,y el estado que vino el producto genial muy protegido el embalaje y dentro el producto en correctas condiciones ;

Buen producto, aporta un color precioso a mis uñas mientras van sanando.
