I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down. Great story with great characters. I've read all The Housemaid books and they just kept on getting better. Millie was great, and Enzo, well, you couldn't help but love him. A fabulous story, quite emotional at times and great twists so you never knew what was coming next. Frieda McFadden is a superb writer and I would highly recommend this series of books.

I loved the first Housemaid book. I wondered whether to have a break before reading the next in the series-but ended up whizzing straight through that in just a couple of days. Then I thought maybe have a break now; read a different genre-but found that The Housemaid's Wedding was a short, novella length addition-and ended up devouring that too. I still had the thought that did I need a break from the series? Was it too much in one go? I thought about reading something else and coming back here later.... then started this book, and it had that same pull. So good, what a great series. I think the first in the series is the best, but this is still a very good read. This is definitely a slower burn, more ordinary life situations, and then, just when you think-when's something more going to happen..... there are some twists you didn't see coming. Was it enough? For me, not really. Book 1 was so great, and such a hard act to follow. Book 2 was just about as good. The novella-length short story was a nice addition. This was still an entertaining book that kept my interest, but I was a bit disappointed later on with it. I am sorry to come to the end of this, it's been a memorable and enjoyable series.

I really enjoyed this book. It was easy to read, full of tension, and kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next. I liked being back with Millie’s story, and the twists made it hard to put down. A gripping, addictive thriller and a great read for fans of the series. Five stars

Frieda McFadden is back with the third instalment of The Housemaid series! I feel like this one was a bit slower to get going and the action didn’t really hit until the second half of the book but it went out with a bang (and a classic epilogue twist) as per usual! I will say it felt like part of this book was just a character assassination of Enzo and I was not there for it. There was also a few storylines I would’ve liked some resolution for, or any understanding of why the characters were there (i.e., the nosy neighbour with the weird kid). I don’t think any of these books will live up to the OG in my opinion and that book holds a special place in my reading heart 🤍 Respectfully, I hope this is the end of the series and we can leave Millie in peace, as it feels the story has run its course. That being said, it is a fast paced read with super short chapters, and returning characters we know and love, so I do recommend giving it a read - and it’s on Kindle Unlimited 👌🏼

I had never suspected such a plot twist! I was gripped until the end, unable to put it down until I couldn't keep my eyes open any more. A brilliant read

Good read. But slow to start but picked up speed as the chapters went on. Good twist I didn't expect.

Freida never lets the reader down . Another gripping story and lots off plays twists and turns. Recommend this book like all off freidas books

Simply WOW! Did not expect THAT ending!! Makes me sad there are no others in this series as I enjoyed them all so much. The twists and turns made the book riveting! Bloody Brilliant!!

Ho letteralmente divorato l’ultimo volume in soli due giorni, e ora me ne pento perché so che non leggerò più di Millie. Ho amato come la trama dell’ultimo libro si incastra perfettamente con i precedenti. Cinque stelle meritatissime.
