Excellent Tool for Accurate Color Matching and Professional Video Work
This is an excellent tool for anyone serious about video production and color accuracy. The ColorChecker is compact, well built, and easy to carry in a camera bag. It makes color matching and white balance correction much faster and more consistent during post-production.I use it with Sony cameras and it has helped create more accurate color workflows, especially when shooting in log profiles. The charts are easy to read, the case feels durable, and the overall quality is exactly what I expected from Calibrite. If you’re looking to improve color consistency across different cameras, lighting conditions, or projects, this is a worthwhile investment. Highly recommended.

Working out in post.
Versatile and easy to use. I’m venturing out with my Zr and so far it feels good. Durable enough. I did think it would be heavier even tho compact. The colors are accurate and compatible for post. Does what it’s suppose to do.

Does it's job well!
Such a helpful tool when color grading! I really love that it has all of the skin tone examples to help when using HSL + Vectorscope! The price point is a little painful, but I expect it to last a LONG time. Happy with my purchase!

Must have for videographers.
Great color chart for videographers. Definitely a must have. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
User
Definitely interesting
Other reviewers are correct that it takes surprising effort to pry open and push shut the passport and you do feel like it could break opening and closing it each time. Be extra careful not to touch the inside when trying to get leverage to use it. Also, be cautious about how you order it. Purchase it by itself. Mine arrived with its surrounding box open and it floating about freely in the standard brown paper Amazon envelope with an order of four-roll gaffer tape that could have easily crushed it. Its white box was damaged to the point that had this been a gift for someone other than myself I'd have to return it for extensive damage to its packaging so order it by itself.

Color Blind Videographer. Yes I need this
I use this making sure all my colors are correct in editing. I have to have a baseline to start from being color blind.
User
Expensive for what it is, but highly necessary if you want good colors in your photos/videos
I like the way that this is all inclusive for both still and video calibration. It's all there and ready for use whenever needed. Setting white balance of the camera isn't always the answer.

Indispensable si eres un profesional
Es una herramienta indispensable para la producción de video, además de que cuenta con el color checker classic para fotografía, por lo cual cuentas con dos herramientas súper valiosas en una. No falta nunca en mis producciones o sesiones de fotos.

An invaluable tool for achieving consistent colour and exposure
As I've become more serious about filmmaking, I've realised just how important consistent colour and exposure are. I bought the ColorChecker Passport Video 2 to improve my workflow with a Sony FX30, and it's quickly become something I wouldn't want to shoot without. The build quality is excellent. It folds into a tough protective case that's small enough to live permanently in my camera bag, so it's always available whenever I'm setting up a new scene.I mainly use it at the start of a shoot to establish an accurate white balance and capture a colour reference before filming. It only takes a few seconds, but it gives me far more confidence when grading later because I know I have a reliable reference rather than relying on memory or guessing how a scene looked.I've also found the greyscale and exposure targets really useful. Combined with the waveform and false colour tools on my Portkeys LH5C monitor, they've helped me become much more consistent with exposure, especially when shooting in changing lighting conditions. One thing I particularly like is that it works regardless of which editing software you use. It's simply providing an objective reference, so whether you're using DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or something else, the benefits are the same. This isn't a product that makes your footage look better by itself—you still need to understand white balance, exposure and colour grading—but it gives you a reliable starting point every single time. If you're moving beyond casual video and want more consistent, repeatable results, it's an investment that's absolutely worth making.

Very happy with it
A little on the pricey side, but so hand when you want simple colour grading, very happy with it

Ottimo!
