Bostik Cempolay Self-Levelling Compound for Interior Floors, Colour: Grey, 25kg

Bag arrived torn and shedding contents as it was not wrapped or boxed. I contacted Amazon and got a partial refund. I weighed what was left in the bag and found I had enough for the intended job. Downstairs toilet floor. I adjusted the amount of water but I think I still may have used too much. It mixed up easily with a drill and paddle in a builder's trug. Poured out and spread easily. I used a spiked roller. Looked good but stayed wet all day. Next morning it was set and looked a bit scuffed but was actually perfectly smooth and level. Gave it a couple of days then covered with cork tiles. Splashs on the wall could not be removed once dried but easily painted over. As a woman of mature years, if I can do it anyone can. I think the spiked roller really did make the difference in making it spread evenly. I also used spiked shoe guards.

Firstly, delivery is terrible, literally stuck a delivery label on the bag, Would it kill them to wrap it in shrink wrap ? Usage:- very very easy, for reference: 5 ltrs of water needed per 25kg bag Poor the water in a clean bucket, use an paddle in a drill for best results, add the dust slowly whilst mixing until its all mixed in, then poor. voila, self levelling floor. I poured 2 bags at 8 pm and was hard as nails next morning, also went allot deeper than suggested it can do (20mm+ in places) and its gone off well Very good product and will use again

being absolutely honest the product is good, but the delivery not, just the bag in front of my door without any packaging at all or protection, the bag was terribly heavy and already damaged! the product in itself is ok, s dust, but ok.

Excellent product. I had to mix and put down the Cempolay and given the cure time it was very hard and heavy work. I had to mix outside and then bring inside to pour and level out mix. Really it is a two person job - 1 to mix and 1 to level out. Very pleased with result. Next time there will be two of us!

Like most of the Boston range its very good stuff

This is a great product and at a good price but I have ordered now 7 and only two have either arrived or not been damaged so be wary. Sometimes paying the extra for peace of mind at a shop is easier with these sorts of things

Good stuff, does take some effort to smooth out the bubbles, but the finish is smooth and tough.
