3 Pack Upgraded Gas Can Spout Replacement Kit, Leak Proof Gas Can Nozzles

It’s allot better than buying new cans, I paid $30 for one 5gal. gas can and $20 for a 1gal can. I was able to fix 3 cans like new. One spout I had to use a O ring to tighten it up. But worked fine. I will be able fix the rest of my cans. I will buy this again. The quality is standard for today, the way they make things now. Not a bad design. There are no bigger thread rings for the nozzle tube, just the standard replacement rings . I have used them several times and seem pretty versatile. The gas flow is the same as when they were bought new, maybe a little better. They do give you a drill bit to drill your can and put a vent on the opposite side of the can if the can didn’t come with a vent, or if your replacing the old vented pour spout.

Measure your cans first. Buy the correct size. Mine were an 1 3/4 openings. Ordered the 3 and everything fit great but the screw on caps that sleeved over the spout nozzle. They were to tight to even slip over the spout let alone screw on. I heated the plastic to stretch them over the spout to get them on the spout. Then it would not fit to screw on the threaded nozzle.The other screw on caps fit great. I was going to use this type anyway! I would buy again!

Woo hoo!! I love the old style nozzles. I struggle with the new ones. I read some reviews that people had some that leaked, I think if that happens just make sure your seal is flat inside the bottom of the nozzle. Mine did not leak and have made me so happy to have.

I have a 5 gallon Press-N-Pour gas can from Garage Boss. It is touted as being "spill proof" but that claim is a farce, for these reasons: 1) The spout is too short to reach the filler hole in the fuel tank of my generator or pressure washer or either o my two cars. 2) It is impossible to angle your hand to be able to press the valve button, while simultaneously releasing the pawl that frees the valve, while trying to navigate the 30+ pound full can to dispense gas. It always slops gas out the sides and leaks from the joints between the can and valve and valve and spout extender. This goose neck spout/cap is truly leakproof. The courser threaded cap fits the thread on the can and it tightens tight. I found that putting a film of plastic lubricant grease makes the cap screw on more easily. Without the grease it is difficult; you definitely need to press down on the cap as you are screwing it in.

Everything besides the small vent cap is good. On all my cans the small vent caps have broken and dispute using the exact drill bit provided, a few have fallen out completely. This is very much a problem because now when it rains water keeps mixing with my gas and diesel. I do not yet have a place to store them, and I really don't want to store them inside the house. NOW I HAVE IRREVERSIBLE HOLES IN MY GAS AND DIESEL CANS! 😡 The vent caps and push in "bungs" (the push in part that sits halfway inside and the cap snaps into) should be STAINLESS. Even if it requires a different method rather then just simply drilling and pushing in the bung, it's better to pay a few more dollars for something quality rather then a POS plastic part.

Update10/2/25 ... Today the spout on my 5 gallon can started leaking. Not just a seep, but a dribbly leak. I tried to re-adjust the rubber washer but it appears it may have degraded from contact with fuel??? Tried several times to adjust and re-install the spout assembly, but it still leaks. Disappointed, but it was fairly cheap. Original review: Just got these so if any issues arise I will update this review, but as far as fit ... they worked great. Interestingly the smaller cap fit my 5-gallon can and the larger cap fit my 2-gallon can. I had previously installed a vent on my large can and just disabled the "safety" lock. I will be installing one of the included vents on my 2-gallon can. Great that a drill bit is included for the vent installation. Can't beat the price for three sets of spouts with two different size caps for each. I would definitely recommend the the replacement spouts!

Worked very nicely in replacing "not so friendly" standard spicket on can. Plastic is a little on the thin side but it does work at a nice price. Including the right size drill bit for the vent hole is thoughtful.
