Love this product
I started learning C++ coding and started out with a simple Uno R3. I started a complex project that uses multi boards and used the Giga R1 as the master. It was super easy to use and now I mostly use the Giga R1 for my projects. Arduino‘s website has great product support and lessons.

A cpu beast with lots of I/O pins and memory.
Working wonderfully. At the moment I've got 14 gas sensors, temp, humidity, atmospheric pressure, infra red camera, sd card, lidar, and a GigaDisplay it's not missing a beat. I'm using the GigaDisplay touch screen for controls and, even with all that running, it's quite responsive. There's only one breakout terminal block available for this and I highly recommend popping for one, especially if you are getting a GigaDisplay as well because the GigaDisplay attaches directly to the board and makes pin access difficult if you (like me) are going to change things around alot. In the end I spent about $160 for the Unit, Display and breakout which sounds pricey but I'm super happy with it all. I've also barely scraped the surface of this units capabilities. I'm currently calling it the "Trycorder" :)

Eines der leistungsfähigsten Boards von Arduino für sehr viele anspruchsvolle Zwecke. Recht hohe Ansprüche an die Entwicklung durch - Dual Core mit Kommunikation über das unterliegende RTOS Betriebssystem - Komplexeres Speichermodell - Viele spezialisierte Peripherie (extra Speicher, Audio,....) die nur sehr sparsam dokumentiert ist - Sketches laufen nicht direkt auf der Hardware sondern auf RTOS basiertem Betriebssystem (aktuell MBED OS), was Einfluss insbesondere auf Hardware-nahes Timing hat Da heisst es reinfuchsen. Explizit nicht empfohlen für durchschnittliche Hobbyisten. Wenn es für euch mehr Power sein soll, schaut euch alternativ mal Teensy 4.1 an. Ähnlich leistungsfähig und sehr gut Arduino integriert. Die Qualitätssicherung von Arduino ist arg ausbaufähig. Wie auch ein anderer Rezensent, habe ich in der ersten Lieferung ein Board "Assembled in Pisa" erhalten (siehe Bild). Ein so einfach optisch erkennbarer Fehler darf einfach nicht in den Vertrieb gehen. Das zweite Board ist in Ordnung.
