High quality design and construction. These quick release couplings for 8mm i/d propane/butane Hose work very well. My requirement was for use in a water loop where I needed to be able to quickly disconnect the 8mm tubes without losing water. They are of sturdy construction with spring loaded locking rings that snap securely in place around the connecting piece.

I purchased these inline quick release fittings for my outdoor cooking equipment and I'm impressed with them so far. The fittings feel solid and well made. The quick release mechanism operates smoothly while locking securely into place. Their greatest advantage is the convenience they provide. I have a single propane bottle and a couple of appliances, so being able to disconnect and reconnect equipment quickly without struggling with hose clips or fittings makes changing appliances much easier. The connection feels secure with no signs of leakage. The fittings are compact, neatly finished and appear durable enough for regular outdoor use. They have made my setup far more practical. It's an excellent product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. You can also buy the appliance nozzles separately so adding extra equipment is easy. You do need to make sure that you install the connectors the right way round. The straight through nozzle goes on the appliance pipe and the release nozzle goes at the gas bottle end. Good value for money, easy to fit and highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable gas hose quick release couplings.

These are simple to use and have a fair amount of flow. Jut be carful to ensure they are fully locked in or out or they can leak from the locking ring.

Good but hard to push together

The connectors look fine, and both seem to work as intended. Should be easy to fit to pipe (dipped in hot water to soften) and allow me to swap between patio and propane on the BBQ - have larger propane for greenhouse heating in winter so saves buying (and storing) a spare patio gas cylinder (plus they charge more for the convenience of the click patio connecter - even on refills, go figure?). GOOD job I wasn't in any hurry as for some extraordinary reason it took 12 days for delivery with 48hr parcel!!!!
