Tremendous Sauce
This is genuinely one of the best hot sauces Iโve ever had. It might be my favorite verde sauce. Thick, tangy, and slightly smoky, this isnโt a terribly spicy sauce, but it has enough of a kick to be satisfying, and its being a bit mild means you can use a lot of it! I love Small Axe Peppersโ products in general, but this is probably my favorite of their offerings.

Great sauce- not for everything though
Hmm. ok. So. This hot sauce is good. Itโs not terribly hot that is why I was hoping it would be my โput on everything โ winner. First off, itโs very yummy and many people who I have made try it agree itโs yummy. However, it doesnโt go with everything in my opinion and many of my friends agree. I think it works best with meat and as a condiment for deep flavored dishes. Works great on tacos and chicken. An all around sauce? Not for me. Itโs too specific of a flavor.

Yummy
This sauce is pretty good. It doesn't really pair well with everything, but it goes well on tacos and other Mexican dishes. It goes fairly well on grilled chicken also. I don't think it's really a beef or pizza sauce. There is a pronounced vinegar flavor in this one as well as garlic. The consistency is very thin, which is a bit of a negative with the type of bottle it comes in - it is VERY easy to accidentally over-dump a huge amount of this sauce out of the bottle. Heat is subjective. My 11 year old thinks it's our hottest sauce, but to me it's one of our mildest. (And what is our hottest to me isn't that hot to him.. it's very subjective). I would put this at the low end of medium heat. It's not a very hot one.

Very fresh taste
Very fresh taste, perfect amount of heat for me.. which i would say is hot but the heat does not take away from the flavor at all. Will purchase again!

Interesting flavor with minor warning.
Echoing others' comments, Alton Brown's endorsement sent me searching. Serrano usually is not high on my list, but this is a balanced and unique all-around sauce. Honestly representing the primary ingredient, it is simple, fresh, and light - quality ingredients shine. The heat is on the warm side of mild, but could be a gateway for converting the spice-averse. Only tried on black bean quesadillas so far, but should be fine for most light proteins (probably would get lost in grilled/smoked combinations). The warning: Lunch for 2 easily could have halved the bottle, were we not restrained. Low heat and good flavor will not leave it long in the fridge.

Sweet, chunky, unique, delicious
This sauce does not have an average Cholula style hot sauce flavor. It is sweet. To me it has a fruity, almost sweet and sour flavor. Maybe that's the apple cider vinegar and the sugar. It has chunks of peppers that plop out of the bottle. I would give it a hot rating of medium to medium minus on a mild/medium/hot scale. Definitely not super hot which is good because everyone in my family can enjoy it. So far, I've eaten it on a steak and then leftover steak chopped up in a tortilla and leftover steak on a salad. I bet it would be awesome on a burger.
