Print like a pro!
I originally had an ender 3. So going from that to this was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge upgrade! It prints so fast and using the slicer specifically designed for this printer was an easy transition aswell. Literally no set up is required, settings and prep are all done for you before every print. It's literally just hitting start print and the printer does all the work. It's the perfect machine for a novice and great price for what you get.

Bought as a total beginner.
I have hesitated over and over again over whether or not to buy a 3d printer. I read horror stories in reviews and social media about endlessly fiddling with bed levels, and flashing firmware using 3 different operating systems and still bricking the controls, clogs and failed prints galore, etc. I was looking for something that would just work when I pressed "print" and eventually spit out the desired results. So, I took the plunge on this printer during holiday sale prices. I received the printer in a reasonable time, and had it up and running within about 30 minutes, and 16 minutes later I had a brand new benchy to collect dust on my desk. Out of the box, it was pretty much point and click to get things set up and running, so it met all of my immediate needs and desires. So, the unit has auto-leveling which makes things pretty easy to get kicked off, but don't delude yourself that you have escaped manually leveling the bed. There are after-purchase videos provided by Creality which clearly demonstrates how to perform an actual leveling of the Z axis, and other videos besides which detail how to shim the bed if the official method is not adequate. I did use both, but I'm an industrial technician by trade so precision adjustments and alignments are pretty commonplace for me. Many reviewers recommend getting an upgraded PEI build plate, but honestly I'm still using the original plate and have had no issues with adhesion on PLA, PLA+, PLA Silk, ABS, or PETG. Clearly I use glue with some of the materials, but mostly I use PLA variants and don't have to use glue for adhesion. You can do whatever you want, I just haven't found it to be necessary thus far. There's a few mods to be done, like removing the PTFE tube from the drag chain, replacing the PTFE entirely with Capricorn tubing, building risers to mitigate the drag chain slapping against the stock lid. Just minor things that endlessly entertain a casual tinkerer like myself. I am currently in a small apartment, and the only area to set my printer up is in my living room, and that makes it difficult to watch TV when it is printing. With it all closed up and just printing regular PLA stuff, the noise immediately near the printer runs between 62 to 67db. The motor noise is not that bad by any means, it has more to do with the model fans and the exhaust fans. That isn't horrible, but clearly would be easier to tolerate in a craft room, or in a basement or such. Also bear in mind that you need a very sturdy table or workbench to place this printer because the inreased printing speeds translate to lots of vibration so a rickety old card table is not going to cut the mustard. So it is 2 weeks after my purchase and I still give this a solid 5 stars. It is not perfect, and sometimes it just wigs out (or I made it wig out somehow), but I am still ripping through filament and entertaining myself by printing things that I have no real need for but to look neat sitting on my shelves or entertainment center. I would solidly recommend this to even a beginner, especially over the Ender models (and I'm not saying they are bad, but they are more fiddly than this has been so far). This has been a very pleasant experience for me all around.

Junk, pure junk
This is the worst ABS filament that I have used. Does not print well giving all sorts of issue at rounded corners, square corners, etc. Hardest of all the ABS filaments that I have used to stick to the bed. Half of the prints will warp. A fair amount of stringing as well. Will not buy this cheap filament again.

Great machine for the price
I have a Creality ender3 s1, and love it, but decided I wanted to purchase the Creality k1, well since having it for the past couple weeks, I really love it. It's easy to use, fast, and I've loved the quality of the prints.

The printer is awesome, but after the upgrade of the hotend and extruder
Had the Creality Ender 3 V2 before this one, it’s a huge upgrade. The only thing that I don’t understand Creality for is the fact that they know that they have out there machines that have problematic hotend and extruder, and they they ship them anyway and let the customer deal with it and replace it. (Otherwise it would have been 5 stars ⭐️)

Fast printer, but clogs easily
It did a good job until the the nozzle clogged up. I have been printing for a few years with other printers and no issues. Support was useless. I returned and bought Bambu Labs printer.

Amazing Product
For the price tag, this exceeded all my expectations for a 3D Printer, The speed and quality of prints are amazing and all the functions that come with the Creality Cloud app make printing in it the most user friendly experience I've ever had.

This thing is fast!
Save yourself some trouble and ditch the glue stick. For great bed adhesion without making the part of your print touching the build plate ugly (which glue stick will do) just buy the cheap finger pump version of Aqua Net Hairspray. I added the Creality camera and now I can check on the print from anywhere with my phone! I still have a Creality CR5 which has several expensive upgrades to get it as reliable but only 1/4 as fast as this printer. So right out of the box this thing is fast and reliable. I LOVE it!!
