I'm not a bubble tea connoisseur so i can't tell you really if this is going to be the best bubble tea you've ever had but for me it was pretty great. I honestly haven't liked many of them that I've tried. I think it's a texture issue sometimes but definitely a sweetness issue most of the time. First of all this was very very easy to make. I followed the directions and it came out just fine. The sweetness is there, for sure, but it's not painfully sweet. Even the tapioca pearls are a good level of sweet. They are pretty chewy, which I think is the way they are supposed to be? I've only ever had popping boba before so this was new to me. The flavor is subtle and nice. If you like taro you'll like this I think. And the pearls are almost kind of spicy to me, like they have cinnamon in them. Weird but good.

I tried both honeydew and taro and for me definitely taro taste better. I tried different brand taro and this one is best so far. Honeydew very strong not for me, but this is my opinion. Definitely recommend at least to try because price is comparable to HomeSense where I bought this brand first time. My recommendation is to use glass for microwave because ceramic absorbs most of the heat and the boba cannot get heat correctly during short time.

The bobas taste great, the milk tea not so much. Even though I like taro milk tea for this one it tastes more artificial and weird. Better to get authentic ones. But for the price is ok.

This tea does not taste at all like taro. It tastes like wet popcorn. Will not but again.
