Absolutely terrific!

Quality of the old 78 vinyl record
Very disappointing for a "remaster". The vocals and horns are prominent with no balance with the rest of the orchestra. Very little of Eddies piano which is what I bought it for. If what you want is the feeling of a 1930s radio broadcast than this is for you. If you are looking for something that showcases Eddies piano, then pass this one by.

I enjoyed this music from Eddy Duchin. It is, like most music from the '30's, danceable, melodic, romantic and energetic/bouncy.

Duchin was the master of happy , romantic dance music. If you don't know him, be brave and listen. He will leave you smiling and humming.

Wonderful music.
I saw the Eddy Duchin Story years ago only to discover later he didn't play the piano. Finding these recordings at Amazon has filled some holes in my library. I play these while working around the house and only listening to good music of the era.

One of the reasons I ordered this cd was because I loved the movie they made of him., with Tyrone Power. This cd was very good . Iam pleased with it. His son is a very good pianist also. Thanks.
