Powerful, Clean Bass with Bluetooth - Huge Upgrade to my Setup
This subwoofer seriously impressed me. It's a beast for its size. The power is the first thing you notice, it hits hard and clean without getting muddy. For an 8-inch sub, it delivers deep, punchy bass and can easily fill a room. It’s rated around 100W and can reach down to roughly 30 Hz, and you can absolutely feel that low-end presence. The controls are where this thing really stands out. You get adjustable input gain, a variable low-pass filter, and flexible tuning options so you can dial it in perfectly with your speakers. It’s not just plug-and-play (although it certainly can be), you can actually fine-tune your sound, which makes a big difference for both music production and casual listening. In terms of versatility, it works great across the board: studio monitoring, gaming, movies, or just listening to music. The Bluetooth feature is a nice bonus too, making it easy to connect without extra cables when you want a simpler setup. As for value, it sits in a really strong spot. It’s not the cheapest sub out there, but for the performance, features, and overall sound quality, it absolutely justifies the price. You’re getting something that feels much closer to higher-end gear than budget equipment. Overall, this sub adds a whole new dimension to your setup. If you want tight, controlled bass with real customization options, this is an easy recommendation.

Sound Fantastic, Pairs well with JBL 305P MkII monitors
I've got a small bedroom studio and have recently started my journey of music creation. Have a pair of JBL 305P MkII monitors that sound awesome, but wanted a sub to hear that 80Hz and below range for electronic/EDM/bass pads. Got them tuned quickly - 'normal' music has enhanced bass but not so loud that you notice the sub. It just mixes very well. With EDM and other thumpa thumpa thumpa music or music with very low bass or pads the sub really shines. You get the full bass range that you can feel in your chest and a huge grin on your face. Stoked that you can get a sub with this great of a sound that functions so well for the price. Installation was a breeze - used 4 TRS cables - 2 out of a Scarlett box into the input on the back of the sub and 2 more from the out ports on the sub to the monitor speakers. The box was actually a bit larger than I thought it would be - nice and beefy.

As advertised. This sub fixed my recording playback issues.
I have a small home recording studio as a hobby. The room is about 12 X 10. Before, all I had were two KRK 8's for recording playback. These are good studio monitors, but I could not get an accurate playback of lower bass - forcing me to use headphones, which is a no-no. Now the bass is coming out clear. I'm getting a clean playback and the pass through to the KRK's is great. Add in the bluetooth as a bonus for listening to tunes between recording sessions. I highly recommend as a small studio sub monitor.

Quality build and sound
Perfect addition to the Eris 4.5 speakers. Now movies and music are enjoyable from my Mac Mini. Great for mixing as well.

Good Bass Performance for PreSonus Desktop Speakers
I originally purchased this subwoofer to pair with my PreSonus Eris 3.5BT desktop speakers. I connected my laptop to the subwoofer via RCA, then connected the subwoofer's RCA outputs to the Eris 3.5BT speakers. The bass was clean, punchy, and enjoyable, especially for bass-heavy music. Later, I upgraded from the PreSonus Eris 3.5BT to the Kanto ORA because I wanted a more natural midrange and better vocal reproduction. The subwoofer still produced good bass overall. However, I noticed that this setup did not allow the ORA speakers to perform at their best. To improve sound quality, I connected my laptop to the ORA via USB and then connected the ORA's subwoofer output to the Eris Sub8. With this configuration, the ORA speakers sounded significantly better, but I noticed what seemed to be a slight delay between the speakers and the subwoofer. The bass appeared to lag by a few milliseconds and never felt completely synchronized, regardless of how I adjusted the crossover frequency, phase settings, or speaker placement. I'm not sure whether this was caused by the subwoofer itself, the signal path, or the interaction between the ORA and the Sub8. I eventually replaced the Eris Sub8 with a Kanto Sub6, and the issue disappeared. The ORA speakers and Sub6 integrated perfectly, producing clean, tight, and well-synchronized bass. I'm still giving the Eris Sub8 four stars because it performed very well in my original setup with the PreSonus Eris 3.5BT speakers. If you're using PreSonus desktop monitors and are looking for an affordable subwoofer, this is still a solid option that delivers good bass performance for the price.

Easy to set up and sounds great
Best 8” sub I’ve heard. Easy set up and controls. Provides the lows needed to support my Klipsch 41’s.

Much better mixes
I got this for my home studio and after using it to finish three songs since getting it, I can say I was definitely handicapped trying to produce and mix without a sub. I have the sub paired with my Presonus Eris 5 speakers. The songs I've produced using the sub vs. without the sub have translated much better across various speaker systems and my low end is much tighter and easier to manage. Also, when it comes to sound design, I can make much deeper and higher quality sub bass synth patches because I can actually hear and feel what I'm doing. I'd recommend using a calibrated room microphone and an acoustic room response calibration software to calibrate the sub and your speakers to your specific room as well. I found for my room I could just leave the sub in it's default configuration out of the box, but the settings on the back of the sub allow for some really nice fine tuning to get a nice flat response after accounting for the room response. Lastly, I really like the Bluetooth capability for casual listening and it works well if you only pair it with one device, but I found that if you want to switch between devices you have to press and hold the Bluetooth button on the back of the sub for it to connect to a different device each time despite already being paired. It connects automatically without that step if you just connect and use one BT device consistently with it. Kind of a weird and somewhat annoying quirk, but I don't really use the Bluetooth for anything but connecting my phone to the speaker system for leisure listening, and I only occasionally connect my laptop. For music production though, I use balanced TRS cables routed to my audio interface because the Bluetooth can add a significant amount of latency to the signal chain. In summary, if you already have Eris speakers and want to gain the valuable information your ears need to have great low end in your mixes I'd say this sub is a no brainer and worth every penny.

Now you're talking - this sub does make a difference
I paired Sub8 with Adam D3V. Even D3V has relatively good bass down to around 50Hz, but it's only a 3.5" woofer - you can't beat the physics. I cut off the low frequency on D3V using the HPF on Sub8 around 80Hz, resulting a very clean and tight bass even in low volume, which with D3V it's just impossible. I use this combo as a nearfield setup and I think the result is most perfect.

¡Excelente!
Está bien, no es de mucha potencia pero está muy bonito y muy finito. Lo que me gustó, es que trae output RCA para alimentar ya sea otro subwoofer o unos parlantes.
