Super fun!
My son LOVES this game. Great way to teach them to take turns. Takes forever to set up but it’s a lot of fun for the whole family.

Great game - ignore complaints and read my review
Overall great game. Kids love it. Two reasons it's not perfect. One: The numbers in the tray are hard to see during play. But, problem solved: I colored them with black sharpie. Two: The trays are a little small for play with only two players. The amount of bees might spill over a little. BUT, if you're careful, you can solve that problem. I will say it's a little time consuming to set up. But, to all the people complaining: You have to put the sticks in like a grid. I never have a problem with bees falling out when not intended. I do a bottom layer of sticks. Then go across that with the next layer and so on. And, I've never once had the tree dislodge while turning it. Overall a great game. Just use common sense, smarts and ingenuity and you'll be fine. I would recommend.

it is of good quality unlike other board games where things fall apart ...
This game has been a hit with our 3 year old granddaughter. Besides being cute, it is of good quality unlike other board games where things fall apart if you look at them sideways. I disagree that it has to be set up solely by an adult. Our granddaughter helps right along most of the time. Amazingly so, the set up does not seem to get boring for her. Normally her attention span is pretty short and moves on to other things rather quickly. The one thing we do have a problem with is that you WIN if you get the least amount of bees. She likes to think of it as the more you get the better. Therefore wo has the MOST bees wins around here until she is ready to understand the intended concept. Maybe we could have spent more time explaining it to her, but she’s having fun and that is all I care about. Insisting that she understands would mean every time some bees fall on her turn it is a negative thing. And for our granddaughter that would not be a pleasant experience at her age. She’s been told over and over that losing is normal/OK and she sees us lose at times. Losing is part of life is a lesson that needs to be learned, I agree. But maybe better left till next year rather than her abandoning what she considers a fun game. Any comments regarding clean up taking long I don’t understand at all. Takes us no more than 1 min – that’s long? Very happy with the purchase.

It's a trip down memory lane. :)
This adorable Honey bee Tree game is nearly identical to Kerplunk, which we played as kids and our kids played as kids, with the added twist of the honey bee theme. The bees are adorable. Granted, it takes time to put the leaf sticks into place, just like it did for the Kerplunk game... and it's not a game to be played for hours on end unless you have great amounts of patience... but for a few rounds, it's great fun! I bought this game when my young 2 year old grandson showed an interest in other preschool games, like Mr. Mouth Tomy Mr. Mouth Game . and just like Mr. Mouth, it's not a game for him to do by himself. Educational? Let's see...counting... sorting... picking up... fine motor skills...sharing... taking turns. Yes. It's educational and lots of laughs. My grandson hasn't figure out that you're NOT supposed to get bees, and he squeals with excitement every time a bee falls into the tray. The hardest part is convincing him that the bees need to go back into the box and not into his pocket. :)

Set Up is Time-Consuming and Tedious! Game Play Needs Improvement.
The set up is ridiculously time-consuming and tedious. I feel like the company could have definitely made some improvements for this as well as the game play itself. At the current price of $20, I would say it's too expensive for what you get. Firstly, the stems on the leaves are pretty bendable which doesn't make getting them through the opposite hole during set up any easier. I kept back a couple of the plastic pieces that the leaves come on to help guide the stems through the holes. The company could include a small tool to help with that - maybe something with a small "v" end. Secondly, turning the tree between turns sometimes dislodges bees. Third, the spots in the bottom for the bees to fall are not nearly big enough, especially when playing with just two players. I played two games with my little one, who will be 4 in a few months. She does have some delays and it's difficult for her to understand the goal is NOT to get bees. The set up takes at least 10 minutes of frustration while the game play takes less than two minutes. It gets very frustrating. Nice idea, but the execution needs improvement.

FUN game for the whole family to enjoy or just the kiddos
This is a fun game for the whole family to play! It also helps with fine motor skills, as you must assemble the beehive and branches for each round of the game. My kids and I enjoyed this together and it was a fun game night choice! I'd recommend for the age group listed in the description!
