Impressive "Complete" projector!
So I have been really into buying and reviewing these new lifestyle projectors on Amazon over the last few months. I have posted reviews here on Amazon for both of the Elephas models (W1K and YG model). I really like both of those projectors and do highly recommend them. I will also post a review shortly of the DBPower S5. I purchased this model based on a variety of Youtube reviews that I have been watching. The most notable difference between this projector and almost every other Amazon unit under $500 is the speaker system. In fact if you watch any of those Youtube videos they all pay particular attention to the unique speaker unit. It is a "2.2" system as it has two conventional speakers (tweeter and woofer) along with two "subwoofers" built in. The result is probably the best sounding speaker I have heard from any of these projectors. That is great but in all honesty it doesn't matter that much for my current application (video) as I have the projector hooked up to my 7.2.4 AVR. I am more focused on ease of use and picture quality. To illustrate the latter I took a video purposely not under ideal conditions. The video and pictures were taken yesterday in my living in full daylight. The black out curtains are pulled open and, as you can tell, light spills into the room on two sides since it is an open room. I think that is some pretty impressive performance for an advertised 500 ansi lumens (I think it is brighter than advertised specs based on the comparison with the two Elephas models). Now I will say one thing. The projector is only half of the equation. The other half is the projector screen. The screen I have been using is a 120 inch ALR (anti light rejection) screen from a company called XIAOHUI. It is very inexpensive selling at between $40-$65 depending on the timing of your purchase. It has metal bars that slide through the screen at the top and bottom to help retain the overall shape. As you can tell the screen makes all of the difference in the world for the final visual experience.. The projector is also extremely easy to setup and use. It uses the same operating system as the Elephas models which, as I mentioned, is not only super easy to setup but also very good when it comes to picture adjustment options. I mentioned that this is an impressive "complete" projector in the title of this review. I say that because I think the audio matches the picture performance plus you have an extremely easy to setup and use interface. For the price this is currently selling for, around $179, you should seriously consider this projector. Some of those Youtube videos I watched were from a year ago when the unit originally sold for $500. Don't hesitate when considering buying this projector.

Best Home Projector at this Price
I am beyond impressed with this projector. I watched and read a lot of reviews and saw many say it’s not bright enough but that is not true. I bought this for a small apartment and use it in the living room where there is a patio window that takes up the whole wall. During the day it’s incredibly bright and I can still see the image on the wall with a bit of wash out from the sun. If I lower my blinds(which are not completely solid) the picture is very close to watching a tv. In the evenings it’s is extremely bright and rich and I would put it up against any mid-range tv any day. Shadows and highlights are handled extremely well and movies look amazing on it. The native OS is limited in apps and a bit slow but I plugged in a Roku stream box and it’s a dream. The sounds is excellent as well. Auto keystone and focus is very efficient with minimal manual tweaking to make it perfect. I had to use it on my coffee table for for a couple of weeks at a very extreme angle and once adjusted it displayed a perfect picture. 10/10 recommend. Amazing value for the price.

Excellent Projector for Entertainment and Pet Fun!
I’ve been using the AURZEN BOOM 3 Smart Projector for 10 days now, and I absolutely love it! It’s packed with features and delivers an amazing experience for both humans and pets alike . Setup was incredibly quick—within minutes, it was ready to go. Installing apps like YouTube and Netflix was also super simple. The projector’s user-friendly interface made navigating the app store a breeze, and I appreciated how smoothly the apps ran once installed. It’s great to have these streaming platforms integrated directly, eliminating the need for an external streaming device (though the HDMI port supports those too). The audio system is one of its standout features. The built-in 36W speakers with Dolby Audio produce fantastic sound quality. I was especially impressed by the subwoofer’s performance when I played the new K-pop song “APT”—it made the beats come alive and filled the room with immersive sound. The image quality is equally impressive. Streaming 4K videos was a breeze, with sharp, vibrant visuals that really stood out. I didn’t experience any lag or quality dips while streaming, which is a huge plus . A unique way I’ve been enjoying this projector is by playing videos for my cat. The clarity and motion on the screen instantly grabbed his attention, and he loved pouncing at the moving images. It’s not just a projector for movie nights—it’s become a fun activity tool for my pet! Another bonus is the auto-focus and keystone correction, which worked seamlessly. Whether I used it on a plain wall or my projector screen, the setup was hassle-free, and the image was perfectly aligned every time. Overall, this projector has exceeded my expectations in every way. From its solid audio system to the stunning 4K visuals and easy usability, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking to upgrade their entertainment experience. Highly recommend!

Beyond Expectations
Never heard of the brand until I was looking into something different. Been looking into various brands but with Bluetooth capabilities and able to steam movies directly. Wow for the size and price of the projector you get what you pay for. Project is very compact in size versus my other projector and the functionality is awesome. The display can definitely been seen in light clear with any need to dim your lights in the room. This is a great buy for for the money. They only complaints I have is the app store which is very bland with minimal apps. As for the function of the protector it's pretty straight forward however I would love a little more functionality to adjust the sound to where I like it and more app options. Overall it's a great little project that delivers good sound, very quiet "best part" and comes with a few usable apps.

Wonderful then nothing (Updated) then wonderful again lol
*****Update****** So we bit the bullet and decided to order the same projector after returning the faulty/defective back to Amazon. We got the second projector next day. Which was really nice. Set up was once again flawless. Fire stick works great on it. The sound and picture are amazing. We did end up paying a little more since the discount coupon wasn’t the same. But then I received a message from the sellers customer service representative asking if they could send a replacement. I let them know I was told by Amazon that they couldn’t do that so I had already sent it back. She said she contacted Amazon to address the issue as I should have received a replacement. She gave me a credit for the additional amount we paid for the second projector. I was so pleasantly surprised with their responsiveness and goal to make things right. So if you do have any issues with the projector contact the seller directly. We are very happy with the purchase and will update again if we have any issues. But so far so good! ***original**** We received this little projector approximately 8 days ago and the start up was quick and easy. We connected our fire stick because it does only have three preloaded apps on it. The picture and autofocus worked great and the sound was perfect. We’ve been using and watching daily. Shows, movies, music. Then we tried to turn it on yesterday and nothing. We did the trouble shoot thing. Let it rest. And still nothing. We tapped it lightly on top and it flickered on for a bit then when back to nothing. We believe there is something not making a solid connection inside we tried to do a return but they would not replace. Only allow for a return because they’re stock is to “unpredictable” so I had to return. We had a discount coupon on it that is now lower so we will end up paying more the second go around. It is really disappointing and we are contemplating purchasing a different brand. Overall when it worked it was a great little projector but it’s defective/faulty. Purchase at your own peril.

Great projector, but software leaves a lot to be desired.
This projector looks and sounds amazing. Please note, it does NOT come with the Google Play store and its variety of Android apps. The NetRange "App Store" this comes with is terrible. The apps look like they are for other countries and offer little appeal to anyone in America. If you are OK with Netflix, then I am sure this will be fine for you. I do love the projector hardware otherwise. I emailed Aurzen support about the issue. They responded quickly both times, and offered a $60 discount for a Roku device, but I wanted an all-in-one solution for watching IPTV. I use TiViMate which is on the Google Play store and couldn't get it, which was why I was so disappointed. Aurzen did mention that they are continuing to work on improving partnerships and negotiate contracts with vendors. I am assuming Google wants a good deal of money for Aurzen or any manufacturer to include their software. I think if they keep it up, Aurzen may just be the "Apple" of all-in-one projectors one day, but as this one is for now, the software is the only bad thing about the product. I wound up sending this one back and ordered a YABER K2s projector instead. UPDATE: Aurzen customer support contacted me based on my review of this projector and sent me another one to try. I still had the same issues with this projector as far as the software goes. They did correct my in the fact that the OS on this projector is indeed WEB OS and not ANDROID. My mistake... but some of the interface admittedly looks and operates like Google TV in some ways. I mentioned to them that I had no issues with the quality of the projector itself - but I was expecting an all-in-one solution where I did not have to purchase an outside appliance like an external Google TV or TiVo Stream device. While this device does have Netflix built-in, I was looking to install the IPTV software I use, called TiViMate, which runs on the Android platform. The Netrange "store" app has some basic downloads, but most of the content in Netrange seems to be based toward other parts of the world, and not the Americas. And as I mentioned, the lack of Google Play and its associated apps make the onboard software not very useful. If you don't mind connecting an external device to this projector, you'll be happy with the results. The projector has a nice image and good sound. I was just looking for an all-in-one solution. I will say Aurzen customer support did reach out and genuinely seemed concerned about my issues with the software. Maybe they will consider moving to an Android platform sometime soon. Who knows? But at least I brought up the discussion and hopefully they will take my advice to heart.

I couldn't be more thrilled with my BOOM 3 projector.
Holy cow, this BOOM 3 smart projector is absolutely phenomenal! The picture quality is beyond belief – I stretched it to 100 inches and encountered no distortion whatsoever. And let me tell you, the auto focus feature is an absolute game-changer. When it comes to entertainment options, the BOOM 3 has you covered from all angles. With essential apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube pre-installed, accessing your favorite content is as easy as a single click. Additionally, you can enjoy Hulu and Disney via the internet browser feature, expanding your viewing options even further. However, for platforms like Apple TV and HBO, seamless streaming is made possible with the assistance of a Fire Stick. Now, let's talk about the speakers – they're simply awesome. The four rear-facing speakers rival even those of my Sony HT-A7000. Unlike some projectors that feel cheap and plasticky, this one exudes quality and sophistication. Currently, I'm diving into Aeterna Noctis on my PS5 connected to this projector, and let me just say, WOW. The gaming experience is on another level altogether. In fact, there are members of my household who never watch me play video games, but now I've got an audience – talk about captivating. I'm already envisioning the incredible concerts I'll be able to watch on this projector. The immersive audio and stunning visuals promise to elevate the experience to new heights. Needless to say, I couldn't be more thrilled with my BOOM 3 projector.

Completely Unexpected!
First off, let me say, I've been using projectors for about 10 years or so for home entertainment. I always key in on the Lumens of a projector to get an idea as to what time of day I can use it or if it needs to be in a basement or room without light. I gave this one a shot based on reviews and the fact that it had the built in speakers for an outdoor viewing experience. Previously I was using a 7 to 10 year old projector with very high lumens and then had to attach a soundbar for sound and then a box for streaming and it was just a huge hassle taking it out, setting it up, then bringing it all back in once the show was over. This projector is 100% the same brightness of my old Epson 2,000 lumens and the features on this thing are incredible. The auto focus and auto keystone make it super simple to set up. The sound from the built in speakers is perfect for outdoors and the portability make it perfect for an outdoor setup! I honestly didn't expect much for a $300 or so projector but thought at the very least I could use it when it was super dark, but it works from about dusk on, has an incredible picture and awesome sound. I seriously couldn't be happier and am 100% satisfied. Seriously, for $300 I'm not sure this thing is beatable, I would highly recommend so far. We've used it outdoors exclusively and watched a football game, a couple movies as well as sever YouTube videos and it really is fantastic.

Bluffant !

High quality, brilliantly easy to use and the autofocus/keystone is awesome. One stop shop for HT.
So this is a LOT of projector in a... comparatively small package; my other one is markedly cheaper, but it still packs waaaay less than this thing, despite being almost triple the size of this item. Getting started, as that was one key improvement from my old unit I was hoping for (and not disappointed!) - the keystone and autofocus is extremely easy to get right, effortless in fact. Super cool, and you can even put it in the settings for the projector to avoid wall blemishes like outlets and stuff as much as possible. The one thing that didn't seem to work super well, when I was messing with getting this set up prior to my other home theatre equipment arriving - when it's zoomed, it doesn't keep the angle during this process, and then seems to reduce back to the pre-adjusted size thereafter. Mind you, the option I selected did say "automatic" - you probably need to flick that so you can adjust the upward angle a bit. And I can say with confidence: this is true 1080p/FHD output. Accepts 4k to downscale as *input*. Critical distinction. Still, image quality is absolutely fine. Otherwise, it's got the software to back the experience - while I would've liked just normal android, it comes with the core apps and a file manager as a means to access content from spots like a USB stick. Setup was super simple as well. But yea, no need for an external streaming device or anything! Though, if one wants to use it with input, not only does it support mirroring, but it has a TON of IO ports to allow you to hook a lot of stuff up. Certainly a projector that earns its place in a home theatre as a one stop solution. A small recommendation, however - be sure to check filetypes if that's gonna be a concern for you. It has broad compat, but they do tend to be limited more than say a PC would be (or hey, just mirror! awesome). It also has a very nice aesthetic that'll easily fit in with any decor. It's sleek, sharp, and yet with that sort of brown fabric-ish wrap, undeniably cozy. It's substantial, not overly weighty mind you - but definitely enough that suggests it's well built inside as well. One small annoyance was that it was very awkward for me to get the plastic peel off the lens when I was setting it up. They could afford to make the tab for the plastic peel both more visible and certainly larger. But yea, this is pretty damn faultless for a relatively inexpensive smart projector with excellent, easy to use picture features and more inputs than you can shake a stick at. Be sure to check the video for some clips (noting it's zoomed out a bit due to my lacking a screen since my home theater was delayed installing xD) that hopefully give some impression of its capabilities - but as a first party to the experience, I can say with confidence it handles things famously. ======================== == Overall View: [😀] == == - 😦🙁😐😊😀 + == ======================== Media Used: Video mixing 1. 20th Century Fox title roll with audio for a sample of commonly known item; short clip from "Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009 - 1080p); its autocalibration in action. Note: It gets much bigger than this, the zoom was due to needing a flat wall until my screen could arrive for home theatre. It gets the point across, I hope. The cropping is mine - I realized certain elements of the video file title probably wouldn't be appropriate to show xD Focus is automatic, and razor sharp. Clips used should fall within fair use, but I can adjust that if needbe.
