Absolutely gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous. Looks so realistic. The heat function is perfect, lets off a great amount of heat. The herringbone detail is so chic and looks very realistic. It has tons of color options and is really beautiful. It is worth every penny.

Nice Visually but 42 inch Fireplace is Too Loud To Use As Heating Source When Sitting Nearby
I really like the realistic flames and extra heat the unit adds to my Living Room. Unfortunately, the loud fan whirl noise makes the heater unusable when occupying the room. I use my expensive electric central heating instead which negates why I purchased the 42” 240v Fireplace to heat just one room. I contacted Dimplex support requesting to be a beta tester for a variable fan upgrade. Support responded to my concerns by sending out another fan, but the replacement is just as loud. Pros: Beautiful Fireplace and no more hassle burning wood and smoking up the house. Adds just enough additional heat to make the room more comfortable. Cons: Loud fan air flow noise. Hopefully, a variable speed or redesigned air flow system will be used in future models. I want to love the fireplace but it doesn’t fit my quiet rural lifestyle.
