I bought this for the cowboy hat, and it’s adorable! It’s a little on the small side, but easy to get on and off. It basically sits on top of the dog’s head, but the elastic that goes under the chin is adjustable, and there’s also elastic that goes around both ears. If your dog doesn’t mind wearing a hat, it will work fine. If you have one that’s going to paw at it, they’re going to pull it off. My dog shook his head a couple of times, but it didn’t come off. He doesn’t mind wearing hats, so it worked fine. It was super cute on him, and a lot of people stopped us to take photos of him at the event we attended. It arrived undamaged. It’s made of stiff felt, so be careful not to crush it. We had a really fun day, and it worked well. He wore it with a little tuxedo and looked adorable!

I bought outfits for my dogs 8th birthday and got this one for our other dog to include her. Simple outfit but does the trick. They don’t like outfits but something this simple they didn’t mind. You can adjust the tightness on the hat as well. Made memories Edit: Our sweet Zoey passed away right after Christmas some months after this review. I’m deeply glad I got to enjoy a birthday celebration with her not knowing it would be her last. She was only 5. You only live once and so does your dog. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, buy the cowboy/cowgirl costume and you won’t regret it. I miss you space cowgirl. She’s flying to the moon.

Very cute! Got a large and it fits just right. She’s about 70 lbs. the hat material is a good material and doesn’t feel cheap.
