Great for tiles and grout. Good for windows with adaptor (bought seperately). Good in kitchen and toilets on surfaces. Good on steel hob and cooker. Used it on everything listed above over last 6 weeks. (and carpets - it was fine) Heats up fast and is powerful enough for most jobs around the house.

I'm so impressed with this steam cleaner. I've been using it for everything for the past 6 months. Its fantastic. I'm using it for my kitchen, bathroom, toilets, doors, ceilings, walls and my wooden floor. Everything has come out really great and very quick to use + no chemicals. 100% recommend, would not do without in future. Pro tip: For wooden floors I suggest not steaming directing on the wood as it can damage and warp it, instead release the steam on the cloth whilst the brush is lifted up from the floor and then wipe the cloth on the floor like you would normally. I heard this tip from a cleaner thats been steam cleaning wooden floors for decades with success.

This is a significant upgrade to older (2 years or more) versions. Very easy to fill and use and is more effective than older versions. Only problem is that it can only be used with the Karcher cloths. Recommended. Pros Removable water container that can also be filled whilst attached. No more water spillage and the container can be emptied after use. Takes about 5 minutes to start up (older versions took about 10 minutes). In use there is more steam and less water residue than older versions. Easy to manoeuvre. Good set of accessories that can be carries in the main unit. Cloths are now fixed by Velcro and easier to attach. Cloths seem easier to wash clean than the older non-Velcro types. Good value for money. Cons The Velcro cloths mean you can only use Karcher ones but it's worth it.

We had been using this for only 6 weeks when the cord around the main hose started to unravel. There was then a loud explosion and a lot of scalding steam escaping (luckily nobody was hurt). After much bureaucratic nonsense, Karcher collected it and repaired it. However, you would think, given what had happened (the photos were very clear) and the fact that we had had it for such a short amount of time, that they might have been more accommodating and faster at sorting this out. They treated the whole thing as though it was a random ordinary repair rather than an incident which could have resulted in serious injury. It took me several days on the phone and via email to get them even to accept it and it was then away for a couple of weeks. Customer service needs to become a lot more customer focussed! That having been said, it is a useful piece of kit and it seems to be working fine at the moment but I will post an update if we encounter any further problems.

Don’t get me wrong I like the product but it has two major drawbacks - Electric cable and long hose - a problem going up and down stairs unlike my Dyson, compact. And finally it produces to much water which means you really have to dry floors after steam cleaning. On the upside it does clean very well. Also the extras are a bit on the pricy side.

Having read reviews for the Karcher range of steam cleaners, we decided to go for this one, despite the extra cost. It appears to be well made and functions as I would expect. So far, it has had one 'marathon' use the clean throughout the house and my van. It performed well, even on carpets and upholstery. Stains on a pale rug lifted right out and older upholstery certainly looks improved. I can't comment on durability as yet.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for By far the best steam cleaner I've bought. I have pets so it's important to keep my house clean The attachments fit easily and perfectly and unlike cheaper brands it steams continuously. Made cleaning effortless I bought the window cleaner attchment seperrately and that too works like a dream 10/10 great machine. Highly recommended

I had a s4 steam cleaner before for a few years paying well over 300 pounds I have just recently purchased the new one at a sale price of just over 200.pounds . Absolute the best steam cleaner I’ve purchased . It assembled in a matter of seconds and your ready to go . The continuos steam is a great feature to . No negatives for this product .
