I recently had oral surgery, and I was looking for a practical way to soothe the swelling and discomfort around my jaw and cheeks. What I particularly appreciated was the mask’s versatility. Besides using it for cold compression to calm post-surgery inflammation, I could also heat it briefly in the microwave to relieve muscle tension around my jaw, which can become stiff after procedures like tooth extractions.
