Renovo REN-KIT2 Car Cleaning kit, Green

I have a 2011 Mini that had a stained soft top. I had previously used the Renovo cleaner on its own. It had made a massive difference but could not totally remove the stains. That was about 2 years ago. This time I opted for the full three stage kit. I again cleaned with the Renovo cleaner. Again it did a very good job but there was still shadows of the marks. It was the colour restorer that did the job. After applying this the roof was back to new!! I couldn't believe it. Well, actually I could as I was hoping that the restorer would cover the remains of old marks, but at the same time I was slightly doubtful. Anyway, it did the job. I recommend it to anyone. The only problem is that one 500ml bottle just covered my Mini. Anything bigger and it wouldn't be enough. I also used the water proofer. Again, it was just enough for the mini. Each stage is very easy to follow. I didn't mask the car off or anything and didn't suffer hardly any runs onto the paintwork. It really is easy. Overall I am very happy with the kit. It was kind of expensive but to totally restore the soft top to new it is well worth it.

My 27 year old convertible was in despereate need of a facelift to its roof. The shampoo got years of old crud out and the dye made it properly black again. Where there had been stains and water marks, there is now only deep black. The water proofing means that rain drops just collect on the roof until big enough to run off. It's not cheap but it really has worked.

I'll leave it at a 3 star for now. That may improve should I be able to produce a decent result. I cleaned the top several times, including twice with the included cleaning solution. Incidentally it smells suspiciously like washing up liquid. After doing that I set about reviving the colour with the bottle of black. DO NOT START UNLESS YOU HAVE ENOUGH TO FINISH it says on the bottle. 1 bottle should cover 2 normal soft tops it says. Great, even with a Beetle I should get at least 1 coat. Nope. Not sure if it was how absorbent the top was or just its size being too large, but 1 500ml bottle covered about 2/3 of the roof. Now I have to wait for another one to arrive and hope to hell that it doesn't look crap when it is applied to the sections I couldn't finish. It goes on fine and perhaps with a top that isn't now 18 years old it wouldn't have drunk it quite so readily. Just be warned! Once its done and I've got the waterproofer on (just ordered an additional 1l bottle of that just in case) I'll update my review.

Best soft top cleaner and proofed I've tried. Excellent products!

Jag har använt produkt (rengöring) enligt beskrivning 3ggr nu men fläckarna i cabben finns fortfarande kvar. Jag är väldigt besviken på resultatet. Hoppas infärgningen fungerar bättre. Det återstår att se.

Prodotti acquistati come ultima spiaggia...dalla capote continuava ad entrare la pioggia...ci avevano prospettato di doverla sostituire completamente seppur intatta e senza rotture visibili. Ci vuole tempo e pazienza per passare i prodotti correttamente ed attendere l asciugatura ma ne vale la pena. Sono quattro mesi che abbiamo passato questi prodotti ed il risultato è più che soddisfacente: il colore della capote è uniforme e intenso (come nuova) mentre grazie all'impermeabilizzante non ci sono più infiltrazioni di acqua. Prodotti veramente di qualità.

Mon toit de cabriolet est comme neuf ! L'utilisation est super, mais il faut y consacrer du temps. d'abord nettoyer (c'est vraiment efficace et le nettoyant est très économique) ensuite laisser sécher le toit. Appliquer ensuite la peinture noire, en travaillant mouillé sur mouillé (1 flacon suffit pour mon toit Audi TT) Après le séchage, appliquer le scellant, en travaillant à nouveau rapidement et mouillé. Au bout de 24 heures, tout est sec et l'eau perle parfaitement sur le toit.

Muy correcto, no hace maravillas pero mejora notablemente la apariencia de la capota recuperando la oscuridad casi de origen. Tenía esperanza que se disimularan más algunas marcas de roces y desgastes en los pliegues pero bueno, no ha quedado mal. Respecto a la impermeabilización, le han caído 4 lluvias y se nota bastante que repele el agua y podría decirse que se ensucia menos que antes, como que se le adhiere menos el polvo y las pelusas.
